Yep, priced pretty much right on.

Thank you ame. just one more thing, do you think the halo setting keep the diamond less sparkle than the prong setting. My SA keep telling me that halo is trendy now but the traditional setting will let the diamond sparkle more, plus it is easy to clean at home. Pls advise

If you have read my post about Halo, I really don't advice going for it unless you really want it. After changing on my setting so many times, I came to understand that simplicity = longetivity.

Are you using it as a RHR or your E-ring? If E-ring, then make it as simple as a solitaire.

If RHR, do any thing you want :p

Well, it's my anniversary ring. I will keep my e-ring and won't upgrade it because it means too much for me :D Now I (or we :p) will start a new set of jewelry for me. My e-ring is four prong set and was a tiffany classic style, now I still like it but my friends keep telling me halo is better.

So meaning you will be wearing it as a RHR? If you already have a solitaire for your e-ring, then go ahead and do a halo or whatever setting you want then for your new diamond ring.. :smile1:

I do agree that a halo is trendy now and a traditional solitaire is a little more classic. A solitaire also allows more light into the stone. It does make a difference to the brightness. I Also think that the Melee diamonds in the halo compete with the main stone and there are misfire issues.

I am bumping this because I met this adorable couple yesterday and got to see this beauty in person. Other than it needing a cleaning, it looks great!!! He did a great job and they're super cute!
