Goyard, balenciaga and Dior. Goyard because I already have one and its quality is terrible, balenciaga because of its aesthetics and Dior because I saw Alex of hrh recently post a video of her Dior bag which was already falling apart. Not impressed. Oh and mansur gavriel because I have owned two and they did not hold up well after a short period of use and their prices have skyrocketed since becoming popular and I do not think vegetable tanned bags are worth that price! And like the PF poster above - likely no canvas bags from LV. The price point has gotten crazy given that it's a canvas bag. Finally no Gucci canvas either. I've had two and one had its stitching start coming apart after two months of use along the top of the bag and I had the handle fall off another one. I have thought about the marmont but I think Gucci is overhyped now.
Patina is a matter of personal preference, but I feel compelled to add that I think vegetable tanned leather is certainly worth the price because of how much better it is for the environment, not to mention that it is a more masterful craft that takes weeks up to two months to complete

Back to topic, I knew a Fendi personally and though I have nothing against the family, I feel odd carrying a bag labeled with the name of someone I once knew rather well but wasn't particularly good friends with LOL.

I don't want to say never but I can't see myself buying an LV monogram bag. I don't like monograms in general and I really don't like the LV monogram. I've learned not to say never because I recently bought an MK bag that I just had to have even though before then I never saw an MK bag that interest me.

LOL... Years ago I said pretty much the same thing. Then I bought an LV DE bag.
It's the most practical bag I own, and I finally understood why people loved it.

So like you, I never say "never" again..:biggrin:

And I will never buy Chanel WOC....The WOC is beautiful, but for me unpractical. I love my long wallet, I need card holder with my ID, DL and insurance cards, plus my phone and keys and card to office.... WOC is just too small for me..... And I know, I can use it as a clutch..... But than you have to put a chain insite (?), so you just lost space.

Chanel and lv. IMO, Chanel’s classic quilting pattern looks old. And lv bags, well, the only pattern I like is the damier azur one, but still, it feels like a lot to pay for coated canvas. I think if I got a bag I loved from either of those brands, I would be too scared to wear them because I know how much they cost.(lol)

Nothing obvious in terms of style/brand/logo, so not LV, Dior, Chanel and Gucci. I used to like Goyard as the exception but the canvas and leather quickly show wear even after a year or two. Also don't fancy luxury bags made of canvas and nylon given how much they cost.

Probably the majority of them - but not because I harbor any hatred! My reasons for eschewing so many brands have more to do with wanting to stay safely within the boundaries of what I already know will work for my own (lack of) style, rather than a dislike of the designers. It's always the same: I cultivate a fierce and absurd loyalty to two or three brands. Should they evolve beyond my comfort zone, I get crabby about it, call it quits and find a new love. I'm a fashion coward and I admit it.

Or maybe I'm just lazy. Six of one...

Oops forgot to say that I do have one mini square I got as a gift and I do use it, but more for sentimental reasons. I wouldn't buy a chanel bag by myself for myself because of the price.
