Not a fan of LV Speedy although the mini lin fabric is lovely. IMHO a bag should not sag if one is paying the big bucks for it. Again - jmho and to each her own.

I will also not carry LV mono in any flavor. I am very low key and feel it draws too much attention. :smile1:

As far as Damier - I've read people feel it is too masculine. I believe the trick is to use it with a very feminine shaped bag for a nice balance.

I dislike:

LV speedy, new azure line, damier line
Balenciaga with regular hardware, except maybe first style in bright colors so that the regular hardware stand out, otherwise, no
Birkin
Chanel flaps
anything Tokidoki.
most classic Coach styles but I sometimes fall for a particular bag if it grabs my attention.
that new YSL "it" bag that kinda flares out, forgot what the name is.
straw bags. EVen though MK ones are very cute and well designed I just am not a straw bag person

This fendi bag looks cheap and ugly to me. It is clear plastic, and looks like it was purchased at Walmart.

I don't like any LV bags (or logo bags for that matter) but could someone please tell me what is sexy about this?:yucky:

And as a former Marc Jacobs fan, this bag makes me literally sick. Why would anyone want his name plastered on their bag in tacky brass studs? :yucky:

Just my opinion....

hehe we made that list a few days ago!~

the first one and jessica simpsons aren't the worst things i've ever seen, but they're freakin bad...

that last one is definately my contribution, and the damn thing has a matching wallet  ew gross.

The first one that comes to mind (though I can't say I can't stand it) is the Birkin. I'm sure they are well made but I don't find them that attractive and certainly not for the price. That's just my opinion and we're all entitled to have one. In fact, some of the bags pictured above I think are cute but that's why there are so many bags out there, something for everyone!

Hi all,

I'm newly addicted to handbags, thanks to a good friend of mine, and I recently found this site. This thread is so much fun!

Anyway, I personally don't like LV, nor do I care much for Coach. I really like the Prada nylon bags, but just can't bring myself to spend the $$$. And I despise anything that resembles a hockey goalie's bag.

I don't know if they are "all the rage," but there seems to be a lot of buzz about Gustto and Gryson. I find Gustto bags totally weird-looking. I can't help but see a face on the Setela bag (the zipper looks like a mouth, and the studs that attach the handles to the body of the bag look like the eyes of some cartoon character). The Baca looks weird to me too--like a blob of leather that a five-year old sewed together. The Parina is the only style that I think is kind of cute.

I tried to like Gryson because the bags are apparently well-made, but I find a lot of the styles boring and not very pretty or feminine.

Of course, I don't mind these bags on other people, I just don't like them for me. :smile1:

Where I live logo bags are still really big, although it seems like a lot of the "it" bags now are just leather and logo-less, you wouldn't recognize the brand unless you were a handbag lover. Here most girls still wear a lot of LV logo bags, Gucci logo, Coach logo. While I think they look good on them, I'm becoming less interested in wearing logos myself. Again, not to put down the bags, they are very nice. Just my personal style seems to be changing.

I'm really getting into Chanel and I luv luv luv it - however I'm still a little stuck on the flaps. They're slowly growing on me - however I just don't think I'll ever invest in them. There are women out there who can make them look young and chic - however in my eyes, they'll always have a little bit of an "old-lady" stigma to them.

I am really over LV. And for the life of me I cannot understand the appeal of the leopard line. They're monstrosities.

I think there's only Chanel and Gucci in my future.

IMO Hermes has never really appealed to me.. espcially the Birkin.. I find it very plain ...

I did touch (I say touch, I meant go to Selfridges and manage to hold one XD) a Balenciaga bag and the leather was extremley soft so I see the point of them..

I love Chloe paddington but the other Chloe bags dont float my boat at all :<

This is a great thread! XD
