OMIGOD. my brain is scarred forever for having this mental image.

I LOVE LV, but lord help me, i just don't get Cerises, Graffiti, Cherry Blossoms and the latest Groom collection. out of these, i think the worst is Graffiti. I love me some Marc Jacobs, but what was he thinking?

I was in Santa Fe this week. Went to a Tesuque Pueble Flea Market. It was awesome, until I came upon a booth that featured knockoff Fendy Spy bags, anything and everything LV and Balenciaga. It was mind boggling to say the least, because I picked up and felt every single thing I could get my hands on and thought, "I don't like the feel of these knockoffs, yet I somehow don't think that even though I might be handling the real thing, that I would have liked them better. Can you follow me?? I didn't like the profile of any of them on me. It was weird. Now, I am glad that I like Francesco Biasia and Michael Kors because I feel that I fit the profile. I believe that these knockoffs that I saw were of very good quality. They all went for over $600 or more.

Great thread. It is interesting to see different opinions.
Ones that I don't really get----
-Fendi Spy and B-bag, what's up with those big bickles.
-LV mono (I have quite a few LV but none of their mono, seen too many fakes), groom, perforated, cerises, panda
-Chloe paddington, this is one heavy bag
-YSL muse, I just don't get it
-the one with all those round gold hardware, I think it is Be&D
-Dior Gauho

and quite a few moore, but these top the list.

I don't like anything with the company logo on it...So that would be LV, coach or gucci or even chanel with the big C's. I like leather...do not get the fendi spy or anything by prada or fendi. I do buy coach, kate spade (for my off the wall side) and MJ but I hate Logo's they should pay me to carry their bags. I think the fakes really did it for me...I don't like fake anything and the fake ones ruin the real ones. I also don't care for the dooney and Burke new line for me but for a teenager I think they rock. My daughter loves them and they are cute. I don't understand the appeal of LULU G. either.

I'm in agreement with you, SNDC99 - the logos are very off putting to me, too. I also don't like bags that have a ton of knockoffs - like LV. I do like Balenciaga but I feel the knockoffs are easy to spot cause of the leather. With LV, it is still canvas. I also don't like the fabric bags - Prada, coach. It seems like you should get leather at those prices.

Don't hate me but here are mine:
Cloe paddington HEAVY and too clunky looking for me
LV denim mono bags
Chanel -had 2 a few years ago, the quality was not good, paid a lot, ended up selling them on Ebay. Like the Birken, they look sort of old ladyish to me.
Not liking most of the new MJ either
that's all

Oh.... and I adore Balenciagas and a lot of LV's. Those are my 2 loves.:heart:

Ok... so I am crazy! But I :love: them all!!!! Though if there is one material I am not too fond of: fur/hair (mink, rabbit or pony-hair) I just can't get over that portion. You'd think I'd feel the same about leather too.
