Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller could not have found a better temporary guardian for their two twin boys, Bob and Max.
For Denise Richards was ever the doting motherly figure as she took the toddlers to school in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Holding Bob in her arms as Max ran ahead in front of her, the youngsters appeared content and happy in her care.

Little Bob even snuggled into the blonde star's chest as they strolled into the building.
Denise equally looked thrilled to be spending time with her temporarily expanded brood.
The 42-year-old showed off her extremely toned and slender figure in a pair of green cargo pants and a white singlet top.

The Starship Troopers star went relatively make-up free for the school run, tying her hair back into a ponytail and shielding her eyes with a pair of sunglasses.
Denise was also joined by her daughter Sam, nine, who looked stylish just like her mother in a fringed tank top, shorts and high-top sneakers.
The Sheen boys were equally as colourful in their striped top and navy short combinations.

The former wife of Charlie Sheen has been looking after the Anger Management star's twins with his other ex-wife Brooke Mueller for several days now.
She was awarded temporary custody of the four-year-old boys earlier this month.
Brooke, 35, is currently being treated in the Betty Ford Clinic for her 20th stay in rehab and her drug addiction will be thoroughly investigated ahead of the June 4 hearing which will determine who will have care of the twins for the next six months.

Child protective services could also ask the Drug Enforcement Agency for records of any prescription drugs she has taken and - while Brooke can refuse - social workers could get a subpoena to get information from her medical records.
It was previously reported Bob and Max would be allowed to visit their mother - in the company of a court-appointed monitor - in rehab earlier this week for a few hours.
However, it has not been revealed whether or not the visit was actually made.

Meanwhile, it was also recently revealed that Brooke has never been alone with her boys.
The revelation could possibly risk her chances of getting a judge to reinstate custody of the boys, when she goes in front of the courts in June for a custody hearing.
'Brooke has never been alone with the twins, ever. Since the time they were born, she has always had nannies, or help from her family. She doesn’t know how to care for Bob and Max’s basic daily needs, and views them as play things,' a source told Radaronline.
'The boys would spend the majority of their time with their nannies. Brooke would try and eat breakfast with them, if she was able to be roused in the mornings. Brooke never goes to the twins preschool, in which the parents are encouraged to participate. It’s always the nannies.'

Denise has made no secret of her hard work ethic when it comes to maintaining her incredible bikini body, and stays in shape by working out and eating small, healthy meals 'all day long'.

She previously told Self magazine: 'I am very active. I found what works for my body - everyone's body is different and I think it's best to find what works for you. For me it's Pilates and dance.

'My diet is 80 percent vegetarian and I eat all day long. I have lots of little meals; it's best for me. I found eating three big meals I felt too full and got tired especially after lunch.
'I eat lots of fruit, veggies, egg whites, oatmeal, a little chicken, eggs, rice - that's mostly my diet. I do splurge on ice cream and I love pretzels. My abs get the best workout with my Pilates reformer - I had two C-sections and it was the only thing I found that got my tummy flat.'

And the star explained she is currently in better shape than ever, and feels more confident about her figure than she did two decades ago.

She added: 'Turning 40 I honestly feel better than ever. I feel more confident with my body than I did in my 20s.'

The mother-of-three said that he proposed very 'quickly' to his new girlfriend, but said that was 'ok'.
She also added that she didn't think that she would be getting involved with the wedding.
