I really hope she's ok. She's taken on a lot, bless her (and it's few and far between HW types I give much empathy to).. she needs to give herself some of that TLC.

Sad. Those poor kids. A whacko for a father and a druggie for a mother. Denise is a great fill in but it's still got to be so hard on those kids. 
ETA: I wonder if her recent weight loss is because she's been worrying over the twins? I'm sure she's known this whole time that they were in danger with Brooke. Just a thought...

To think the tabs had such a field day on Denise when she first accused Charlie of being a whackjob. She was held up as a psycho ex wife by many. Turns out she's the sanest one in this situation.
I think she is a saint, frankly, and thank goodness those boys (and Brooke, and Charlie) have her in their lives.

I agree! Not many would put up with this mess and she has always been there for those boys.
She is a saint. I still remember when Charlie was dragging her name through the mud during their divorce. She's a bigger woman than I am that's for sure.
Right?? He was BRUTAL. I honestly don't know how she got through that time. It must have been hell. I can't understand how you can talk like that about the mom (or dad) of your babies? Especially when they've done nothing wrong??

Brooke Mueller is thankful Denise Richards is the one watching her boys while she's getting professional help ... and sources close to Brooke tell TMZ she's glad they ended up with Denise ... instead of her own mother.
As we previously reported, Mueller's 4-year-old twins with Charlie Sheen, Bob and Max, were taken Thursday night after the L.A. County D.C.F.S. decided Mueller's home was an "unsafe environment" due to her suspected drug use.

With their mother in rehab after being discovered seemingly under the influence of drugs in the same house as them, Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's twin boys need some real tender loving care.
Bob and Max, four, were apparently present in the home when police were called to make an intervention to remove Mueller, 35, to a treatment facility; it was thought she hadn't slept for four days at the time.
They're now in the care of their father's ex-wife, Denise Richards, 42, who treated them to a much needed family day out in L.A. on Monday with her adopted baby daughter and father.

The adorable boys were very much under the beauty's wing as she treated them to a hayride at Underwood Family Farms.
They looked distracted and happy, which will be a relief to both their parents.
Their sisters Sam, nine, and seven-year-old Lola, were both at school but the gang were accompanied by Denise's father, Irv, and Eloise, two, was along for the fun.
The bigger the family unit, the more secure the boys will feel and as they're accustomed to spending time with Denise an their sisters, this is the best spot for them.

Stability: Denise took the boys in so they could be with their sisters Sam and Lola, she's looked after them before
Protective: Denise is just the kind of maternal influence the boys need
The avowed animal lover is certainly committed to making sure they're as happy as possible.
Sheen is reported have offered to give Richards more money for taking care of his two children while their mother Brooke is in rehab.
But the actress politely declined.
The show of gratitude comes after Sheen flew Denise home to Los Angeles from New York in a private jet so she could see her children on Mother’s Day.

The Anger Management star also pays Denise $55,000 a month in child support, but wanted to give her more as she tended to his four-year-old twins from his marriage to Brooke.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ‘Charlie is extremely generous, and wanted to make sure having the twins in Denise’s care didn’t place a financial strain on her.
‘Denise was thankful for the offer, but declined because she has the financial means to take care of them herself. She isn’t doing this for the money.’

The former model is intent upon providing the best possible environment for the boys but it isn’t easy, as the source explained: ‘Five kids under the age of nine in one house is chaos at times, but Denise manages.’
