Denise Richards dotes over her adorable daughters at family day at the beach
She has had a highly successful acting career, having starred in over 50 movies and TV shows since her first role 21 years ago.
But clearly Denise Richards has shifted her focus away from work - and is putting all her energy into motherhood.
The 40-year-old Wild Things star spend a fun day at the beach in Malibu yesterday accompanied by her three daughters, Sam, seven, Lola, six and new addition, three-month-old Eloise.
The actress was loaded down as she walked from the car to the beach at Paradise Cove, Malibu, lugging a giant beach bag, a cool bag and her baby girl in a sturdy looking car seat.
Denise displayed her youthful beach physique in a pair of casual grey shorts and a bright orange tank which she paired with a cure baseball cap that had been monogrammed with her eldest daughters' two initials - S and L - for Sam and Lola.
'Girls don't have school...hanging with them all day,' Denise Tweeted yesterday morning.
'Just found out my shampoo launches in Jan. I'll be doing some give-aways!!'
Then later in the day she wrote: 'Spent the afternoon at the beach with my girls...lovely day.'
Sam and Lola were joined by a couple of their friends and the girls spend the day playing in the sand and practicing cartwheels.
Denise, meanwhile, was completely absorbed in her new baby girl, cradling her in her arms, carrying her around draped in a blanket and sitting in the shade feeding her from a bottle.
Denise, who took Eloise into her care the day she was born, opened up about the new addition to her family, last month.
'She's brought so much joy, and I love her to pieces,' she told America's Us Weekly.
'She is a cuddle bug. She loves being hugged and held. She's such a beautiful little baby and little soul.'
Meanwhile Denise's ex-husband Charlie Sheen has bought a house for her only six doors down from his own in a gated Malibu community.
According to TMZ, the actor insists that his number one motivation for having Denise close is that it it will be possible to see his two daughters as frequently as possible.
And things are progressing very quickly, with some of Denise's things already installed in the house, and she and the kids apparently due to move in within the next week or so.
Charlie's generosity might explain why Denise has appeared more positively inclined towards her ex of late.
Two days ago the actor joined Denise and her girls to support their eldest daughter Sam as she competed in a soccer game.
'Just got back from Sam's soccer game,' Richards, 40, tweeted after the match. 'She did great... Happy to see Charlie Sheen cheer her on. Proud parents!'
