As if we needed further proof that no one needs Charlie Sheen to get things done.

Denise Richards is now a mother of three after recently adopting a baby girl from the U.S., her rep confirmed Wednesday to E! News.

But even though the former It's Complicated star is doing the single-parenting thing these days, the adoption was a family affair: Daughters Sam and Lola were tasked with giving their little sister a name!

"Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom (Joni) and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise," the rep said. "Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed."
Ironically, the Richards and her kids were staying in the Eloise Suite at the Plaza Hotel when Sheen suffered his famous "allergic reaction" down the hall and scared the socks off a porn star last year.

But at least now we can assume that Sam and Lola remain unscarred and remember their time in New York fondly.

Denise Richards has ventured out for the first time with her new bundle of joy.

The actress made the surprise announcement last week that she has added a newborn to her family who she had adopted from within the U.S.

She took little Eloise Joni and her older daughters Sam and Lola with her while running errands near her home in Calabasas, California.

The outing on Thursday came a day after she released a statement to People magazine with the news that she had become a mother again.

With her hair in a messy bun, the 40-year-old busy mother-of-three had her hands full as she carried Eloise in a baby carrier while the two new big sisters walked close buy.

Sam, seven, and Lola, five, are the product of her marriage to Charlie Sheen and she has sole custody of the girls. The former couple separated when Denise was pregnant with Lola.

The actress said she has named her new baby after her mother Joni Richards who passed away from cancer four years ago.

The adoption process in the U.S. can take up to two years so it is almost certain that Denise has been preparing for her new arrival for some time.

The next day Denise took her two oldest children for a sweet treat at famous Beverly Hills cupcake store, Sprinkles.

The bakery is a favourite with Hollywood star and Katie Holmes is one of their loyal followers.

As Denise takes on the task of sleepless nights and frequent feeds again, she had also reportedly offered to take on the twin boys of her ex-husband while their mother Brooke Mueller looked after her substance abuse problems with a rehab stint.

Brooke had been struggling with addiction issues and was in and out of treatment while Charlie lost custody of the boys following a string of unusual and worrying public behaviour.

Despite being a single mother, Denise will have lots of support on hand.

Her father Irv is a constant presence in her life, even living in her home and accompanying the family on holidays.

Denise also has a sister, Michelle, who lives nearby and has young daughters of her own.
