Planning to buy this soon! How have you been liking it so far?
It has held up very well so far in terms of structure and shape. A few scratches are appearing on the smooth leather but it is very discreet. Because of covid I have not been using it intensively TBH but it has been caught in rain etc and no worries with it.
in terms of functionality it does contain what you would expect this size of bag to contain. You do have to manœuvre the clasp to get in and out of, it’s not as practical as a tote bag of course but it’s not fussy either.
I still like it very much in terms of colour and looks! I feel it’s very fairly priced :).

I took advantage of BF and just purchased the Quebec. I've been eyeing it for 6+ months. Not 100% the most functional because of how fancy it looks but I thought it looked like a similar but different version of the YSL WOC and love that you can wear it with a strap or without. I love the champagne gold hardware and am hoping it will be a good dupe. Does anyone own this bag and have any thoughts they could share?

I bought the tobacco Los Angeles bag. I originally bought the midi size but it was a bit too small. DeMellier makes it so easy to do returns and exchanges. All of the paperwork, labels, and even the clear plastic envelope to put the papers in come with the package.

I ordered the Los Angeles bag in Ivory. It reminds me of the Bottega Veneta Pouch in Mist, but the top handle tote/crossbody style of the Los Angeles is much more functional for my lifestyle.

This will be my first DeMellier. I'm still eyeing the Venice, but want to test the brand first before expanding my collection.

I recently purchased the Vancouver in smooth black. I got it in lieu of the Celine box bag, which I love but decided against after trying on several times — I couldn’t get past the extreme sharpness of the strap hardware. I don’t really consider the Vancouver a dupe per se because it clearly has its own signature style, but it satisfied my desire for that general style of bag. I was pleasantly surprised to discover how comfortable and versatile it is (much more so than the Celine) due to the strap design. It easily transitions from shoulder to cross body, and can also easily be adjusted to be carried top handle or crook of the arm. The leather is beautiful and the craftsmanship and quality are great, especially for the price. The glazing is smooth except for a slight bumpiness on about a one inch strip on one side, but that doesn’t bother me because it’s barely noticeable (and also a sign the bag was individually crafted). And the Demellier customer service is fantastic! A couple days after I received my bag, the BF 20% came out. I inquired about a price adjustment since I was still well within the return window, and they very graciously and promptly gave me a price adjustment for the difference between the BF price and the price I’d paid. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Hi, just want to ask any Vancouver purchasers if the hardware has stood the test of time? I love the bags but am a bit worried about scratching as the hardware is quite a big piece. Also has the leather held up too? Thanks!

Hi! I’m reviving this old thread because I’m pretty sure my next purchase will be a mini Venice in cognac. Does anyone who’s purchased a Venice in the past have feedback about durability or size/usefulness? I’ve been wavering between the midi and mini... also, if anyone has any discount codes I’d love to hear them!!

I have the mini Venice in Berry grain and I love it. It has a "casual elegance"l vibe to it due to the tassel and the saddle shape. I have had mine for almost two years now. I rotate my bags frequently so I haven't worn it daily, but it has held up very well. Every time I put it on I feel like it elevates whatever I'm wearing. I don't feel that way with all of my bags.

The mini is small, as you would imagine. It holds essentials and a few additional items -- phone, keys, makeup bag, Covid mask, sunglasses.
