Yeah, that's the thing, anyone can (and does) make a 4-to-5-coat yellow, I honestly don't understand the hype surrounding this color. It's not particularly unique, nor is the formula above average. :shrugs:

I think people are going crazy for it is because it was made for Lady Gaga. Or maybe because it's new and everyone always wants to grab the newest things.

Thanks on both accounts frick! I am sooooooo in love with GITA also! And, I'm glad it's so sparse actually, once I started getting too much glitter on my nail it lost some of the dreamy quality it creates!

I've also come to appreciate the sparseness of the glitter and see what she was trying to achieve with it. The milkiness of the base and the spaced out glitter really work to create more dimension in the polish. Too many coats makes it look "polka dotty", IMO.
