I got my first DL this summer as well just in time for my birthday, Across the Universe, I got so many compliments on my nails when i wore it, been wondering which one i should get next. I have wanted GitA but in my opinion it looks best over light blue, nude or gray, up until recently ive never worn any of those colors but i do have Essies Teen Bikini now which i think would look lovely with some GitA on top....

So, I recently bought Mermaid's Dream after wanting it ever since it came out but resisting because I wasn't sure if I would like the gritty appearance it has in every swatch I've seen. I am SO glad I finally bought it. It really is beautiful and the grittiness does not bother me at all--it actually just appears more glittery in real life (which I don't think comes across in pictures).
Just wanted to share this opinion in case anyone else has been on the fence for the same reasons! I'm so glad I got it in time for the holiday season--it's very festive, even though seafoam isn't a color I would usually associate with the holidays.
Also, does anyone have any information about the release dates for (a) the pastel-ish colors (I'm Not Edible, Polka Dots and Moonbeams, etc.) and (b) the Girls collection (Hannah, Jessa, Marnie, Shoshanna)?

Totally agree!!! Mermaids dream is way better in person, it really doesn't photograph well at all. It's so stunning, absolutely a must have DL!
I also agree about mermaid's dream - I loved the color then didn't buy it after hearing reviews/seeing pictures. I finally picked it up with a sale or something and ADORE it. It was barely gritty at all with just one coat of top coat for me.

I keep telling myself that I will not get sucked in by these polishes , I am trying to exercise some self restraint but the polishes are so pretty and the glitters are to die for !
Hit Me With Your Best Shot, 3 (!!!!) coats. SO sheer =( There's just no excuse for a color like this to be that sheer x_X

I can't keep track of which ones I haven't used.Does anyone have Modern Love??? Is it too similar to On the Floor or Putty in Your Hands?? I'm trying to take a pass but it keeps haunting me!!! Thanks so much
