Donna Chee in Chevy Chase is a doll and that store is just as nice.![]()
For those who live in DC, why don't you order your LV online? There's no LV store in DC so you can save on tax! Is it the whole going to the store experience that makes you want to go to the stores in the DMV area?

There are no LV stores in DC. So, if you buy your bag online and ship it your address in DC, you don't have to pay tax. It should save you at least at least $60 for any bag $1000 or higher. We have a few stores that sale LV in the DMV area. In addition, as long as you are a certain amount of miles from any store that sales LV you have to pay taxes so, I'm not understanding your post.
If I went into a LV store to try on, I wouldn't go home and order the bag online. I would buy in the store. I know the bag that I want already so there is no need to go into the store to try it on.I live in DC so yes, I could save money on tax but I'm right over the border so I'd prefer to go try on bags, inspect merchandise for flaws before I pay for them, etc. And once I go in to try it on with an SA attending me, I think it'd be pretty ****ty to go home and just order it online after he/she worked for the sale.
Hi everyone! Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question..
I don't live near any LV stores, but am planning to make a weekend trip to DC to celebrate my birthday (and hopefully celebrate the accomplishment of a big personal goal) within the first couple weeks of August and was hoping to stop in a nearby LV store to make my very first in-store, brand new purchase(s).
Does anyone have any suggestions as to which store I should visit? I've been to the one in Tyson's a couple times, but was mostly browsing (I was Burberry obsessed at the time) and I've never been to Chevy Chase or any other locations in the DMV area. I'll be driving my own car so I can go wherever really. Also.. any SA's you guys recommend? Any and all advice would be of great help. I would really hate for my special trip/purchase(s) to be ruined by a bad store experience :/
