Date Code & "Made In" Questions

Hello,
I’m very sorry if this is inappropriate to post here - I’ve just had an offer accepted on a Louis Vuitton vintage Petit Noe. The bag will go via eBay‘s independent authentication so I have money back guarantee. However I have paused the sale because the date code is ‘5 digits’ not the 6 as described on many of the LV info sites that I have read online. The bag comes with original tag, dust bag and packaging and they assure me it was purchased new in 2001 and that 5 digit codes were made. I just can’t see anything about ‘5’ digit date codes for my reassurance. I wondered if anyone had any information on this please?
The code is RO011, made in Italy in 2001. The seller has other designer items listed with 100% feedback.
Many thanks in advance for any advice.
Kind regards,
Suzy.

Hi, I suspect that there is a letter in front that has faded due to age.

Does anyone know if only the large Kiragami has a microchip? I tried scanning the medium and small one, and I only found it on the large. Kinda weird that they don’t place the chip on all 3pcs. Does anyone know?

Hi!
I found a vintage sac bandouliere with "two" date codes, 823 amd 822.
I've heard that heatstamps and date codes were inconsistent in the 70s and 80s, but I've never seen like this one. Are there pieces like this??7CA79B4D-3C5C-4AFA-B8EB-79A6C296896C.jpeg

Hi. I’m interested in a vintage Speedy 40 that comes with a receipt from Instant Luxe in 2017. The date code is strange but everything else on the bag seems OK and the bag seems genuine. Could this be an authentic date code? Urgent help appreciated as it’s a great deal if it’s a genuine bag Thanks

I have the medium agenda (6 ring), and it's hidden behind the flap (on the inside) where you can store pics, stickers, etc. I also bought mine pre-owned years ago, so way before they did away with the date codes. Mine is from 2000.

I wanted to check authenticity of a chipped Bumbag? Does anyone know where the chip is situated in the bag? Also wanted to know a recommended authentication service for chipped bag?
