Just bought a bag off the LV website. The bag arrived today and I checked the datecode. The datecode starts with LM. According to google that’s made in Spain? But the bag is stamped with made in France?
The only date codes that have more than 4 numbers are date codes for hardsided pieces.
Thank you very much, but can you give an example of hardsided pièces please? A passport holder maybe?
A passport holder is not a hardsided piece. A hardsided piece is a trunk, or rigid suitcase, etc.

I just bought the ONTHEGO MM bag in an LV store and the date code FP0260.. I checked some sites and was unable to find the location code anywhere. Some sites even said it was a fake bag , please help

My husband just bought me an Artsy MM Damien Azur. Stamped Made in Spain ( I am in the UK) I am having real trouble locating the date code. Can anyone help me please? I know it can be on a leather tag inside the zipper pocket on some Artsy models, but there definitely isn’t a tag in there on mine. I also believe it can be heat stamped inside a pocket, but again, I’m having no luck finding it.
Any suggestions? Could it be that the heat stamp has ‘fade’ with age?

Hi! Can anyone help me find the date code for the multipochette accessoires- specifically for the bigger pochette? I was able to find it for the coin pouch and the mini pochette but failed for the last piece. I also bought the bag online.

My new palm springs mini has ML0250 date code also made in France. I don't see ML online either so maybe its a new factory? I chatted with LV online and they wouldn't tell me either due to "counterfeit". If ML is a new factory in France it would be nice to know the location/city for a peace of mind. I did recently see a video on youtube of a palm springs mini replica and it also had a ML date code (new zipper model) so this had me worried.
I just purchased from the LV site and on the go and the date code is FP 0220. I would like to know where that was made maybe it seems like it's not important but I'd like to know what country my bag that cost me $2,800 was made in does anyone know where FP would be located
