weird, didn't know they won't discuss date codes. i discuss them with who i deal with all the times. client services are just too much.Client Services will not disclose any information about date codes. They are intended as internal codes for LV. Usually they play stupid but will reaffirm the piece is authentic if it was purchased from a boutique or LV’s website.
Thanks!1st & 3rd #--week, not month.Fyi you can also google louis vuitton date codes.
Just as an FYI, I've literally just received my OTG MM (bought online in UK) and my code is FP0240
I just bought the coin card holder in the yellow color (jaune) and same thing, says made in Italy with US date code. Anyone know why? Date code reads FH0230.Hi - I just bought a Felicie Pochette in DA at my LV store with the date code FH4189 and it is Made In Italy. Is this a new date code? I thought FH represented USA.
Thank you in advance!
It's not uncommon for some countries to share a date code (i.e. SD and FL are shared between France and the US) or, another plausible idea, is that whoever was stamping the code made an error...I've seen this personally since one of own bags has a kooky code that is out to lunch.I just bought the coin card holder in the yellow color (jaune) and same thing, says made in Italy with US date code. Hmmm so funky, thank you for responding!!It's not uncommon for some countries to share a date code (i.e. SD and FL are shared between France and the US) or, another plausible idea, is that whoever was stamping the code made an error...I've seen this personally since one of own bags has a kooky code that is out to lunch.
All the details look early 80s. You might have a faded blind date stamp somewhere well hidden. My newly received vintage Danube does not have a date code. It has no Tyvek tag either.
It has an Eclair zipper.
Can anyone guesstimate the age of it or when it was made (70’s, early 80’s)?
I’m curious!
