Hi everyone!

I just bought my very first LV bag. Finally got my hands on a Metis and couldn't be happier with this beauty. It has got the datacode SK5109, I am no expert, but never heard about a datacode starting with SK. Has anyone else a SK datacode, too? The bag is made in france and all the details are perfect, I bought it from the online shop.
Can anyone dispel my doubts?

Yes, got it from the official online shop.
Due to that I don’t think I got a fake but I would feel more secure if someone else has a SK datacode, too

If you got it from the louis vuitton website it is real.

I can see that can bring some problem in the future if you want to sell this bag. SK in't on the "known" LV lists. But maybe SK is a new datecode?

There is practically 0% chance to get a counterfeit item from the official Vuitton webshop.
@kbell is right, it must be a new factory.
Date codes are for internal use, the lists that we have here and there online should be considered 'fan-made'. None of those are official in any way.

My new palm springs mini has ML0250 date code also made in France. I don't see ML online either so maybe its a new factory? I chatted with LV online and they wouldn't tell me either due to "counterfeit". If ML is a new factory in France it would be nice to know the location/city for a peace of mind. I did recently see a video on youtube of a palm springs mini replica and it also had a ML date code (new zipper model) so this had me worried.

Mine mini Palm Springs just came in today and it also had an ML0270 code, I guess it’s another factory is France. Congrats!
