the bag is called charlotte beacuse it was designed for charlotte gainboroug.
the drapè is different.
some days ago i pased in front of the shop and they had it in white, dark brown, light brown, green and i couldn't see other colours beacuse i was in a hurry and i couldn't step in.

I have been looking for this bag for a week now and can't find it anywhere. (exasperated ) I asked in Henry Bendel who usually carries new(er) designers and the only place I've heard that carries it (with the exception of NY boutiques) is a boutique in California called Balisimo:

Last weekend when I spoke to them, they didn't have any in stock. The owner was out of town and the SA didn't know if they'd be getting any more. If you speak to someone there please post back as to whether they're getting more in.

this is the bag i have too and it is the Charlotte!
i bought it in the gerard darel shop in rome (via frattina) and when i entered i asked for the drapè and pointed the bag i have now (which is the one in your photo)...the lady looked at me puzzled and told me that that bag is the charlotte!!
