Daphne Guinness is leaving her spacious surroundings in St John's Wood, North London for the chic locale of New York's Fifth Avenue. The heiress has bought a half-floor apartment at 995 Fifth Avenue, the former home of the Stanhope Hotel for an estimated £7.8 million, close to Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Selling her London home for a reported £17.5 million, Guinness's new abode boasts four bedrooms, a space for an art gallery, a family room and a wine closet - an essential feature for any home. Her master suite is said to be equipped with two giant walk-in wardrobes, one supposedly 14-feet deep (!) to house her many designer threads.
