hey.i took it to store today and they told me that all the canvas are different and it is normal. they said that the canvas are painted manually and that the bag canvas may be different and in another batch than the pochette canvas. they also told me that they will order a new pochette for me. however is not the pochette the issue is the bag. i don'tknow what to say... ?
I would insist to exchange the bag ... Do you have another store near you ? If not, try to talk to the store manager

i talked to the store manager and they insist to change only the pochette, but i will go again and ask to change the bag. plus i am in the 30 days since i got it so normally they should change it for me

Hi everyone,
I was debating whether to get a NF in DA recently as well, I’m so glad I saw this post and I just want to share my experience and my through process.
I love the DA print! I love its summer vibe and I’m not too scared of Color transfers. I have all lv canvas pieces in mono, so I want to add something different. Plus I want to use it as a daily bag or mommy bag.
My problem is now LV’s quality appears to be subpar, I ordered the DA NF from the website three times, all had glazing and stitching problems, all were made in the USA. The glazing on the shoulder straps has cracks and the leather appears to have splits here and there. The stitching on the leather trim was horrible too, I’m not picky because I have another Nf in mono from 2019, in comparison it doesn’t have the same problem.
I give up pursuing the bag because I don’t want to pay more money for less quality of the same product. Also considering the fact I don’t really like how DA looks when the vachetta darkened, it looks dirty to me (IMO).
Plus, as a daily bag, I found NF to be a little on the heavy side, compare with Longchamp or goyard.

But DA is still so classic and pretty, I might stalk the website again for a different style (small SLG most likely) hahaha.

Thanks!

I bought this preloved Saleya about 3 years ago. It has a 2007 date code and I have to say it wasn't taken care of by the previous owner. The interior was actually pretty nice , but exterior had some stains, yellowing, the zipper was stiff, vachetta dry. Since I received, I give it regular spa days about once a month when in rotation. I rub wax paper along the zipper for smooth opening, have used wipes, magic eraser and whitening shampoo on canvas and a rich leather cream on the handles. I think she looks pretty good and I don't feel like I have to baby her in the summer. I've even taking this to the beach several times, stuffed with towels and such. How daring!

I LOVE how you were able to clean up the canvas so well that it looks brand new! May I inquire what brand of whitening shampoo you use for the canvas? I have a 2017 speedy 30 and even if not used a lot, I noticed the yellowing of the canvas. TY in advance.

Thank you! I think you can use any whitening pet shampoo. I have Tropiclean with coconut and awapuhi. Let me know how it goes!

It looks amazing! Great job. I’d be interested to know more about the whitening shampoo. I have an Azur bag that has some minor colour transfer. I think it’s from denim. It’s not a huge deal but I do wish I could remove it.

Thanks! I think any pet whitening shampoo would do, but I used one called Tropiclean with Coconut and Awapuhi. Let me know how it goes!

Thanks! I had a color transfer from a blue park bench once and used unscented baby wipes and a Magic Eraser (and a lot of elbow grease to get rid of it). The whitening shampoo I use now just to brighten overall after cleaning.

I thought about trying a magic eraser, in fact I'm sure I actually bought one, but I was too scared to use it on the canvas in case the print came off! I will have a look into it again!
