Yes and no.

I used to watch the Golden Globes and she was Miss Golden Globe way back.

Miss Golden Globe is pure nepotism and they make a point of it - you must be the child of a celebrity and it's their coming out (or intro'd into the celeb world) so it was the first time I saw Melanie Griffith and DJ's daughter. She was very shy up there stage and awkward as one might expect.

For some reason I remembered it - possibly because it seemed so odd to have some famous person's child up there to be a presenter in order to become famous on their own.

It's Hollywood - there have been changes. But she's remarkably natural looking now, even if she isn't completely natural. And gorgeous, of course.

Off topic, but I’m surprised that Dakota doesn’t sound like her mom. Her mom has the sweetest voice. She had that baby girl voice. Unlike Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber who sound very much alike.

Dakota does look better as a brunette.

Hopefully rumors about her being a snob are false, but one of her Madame X costars was Sydney Sweeney. No love for Sydney Sweeney here in tpf. 😂 I don’t even think the other madame X co-stars were famous either. That movie was a big flop. It was a bad plot, story from beginning to end and some folks expected a bigger role for Sydney.

The disappearing and reappearing gap in Dakota’s front teeth is interesting. I’m guessing she uses retainers at night like most Hollywood celebrities.

I don’t find her as good looking as her parents, but she looks very well put together and has a cute talk, but I heard she was a snob of sorts to the costars in the Madame Webb movie… so that kinda of sucked and made her look very ugly overall and now every time I see her she is less and less pretty, kinda like Blake Lively who I used to think was pretty in GG, and now train wreck kinda of ugly inside out girl

I feel that way about Lupita Nyongo...sometimes when you hear a person isn't nice, it's hard to forget

Yes, me too. It worked in Working Girl but not for every role. In fact, I thought she used that baby girl voice in Working Girl on purpose. For some reason.

She's very pretty. Very Hollywood glam with a bright future. I don't care much for CM. I never thought he was right for her. He could date supermodels but is somehow always linked to women with great backgrounds and connections.

Vogue's soft-promo X with/for Gucci all the way through. Ridiculous the way her hairdresser Mark is made to use the the beautiful and pristine Gucci silk scarf (product placement) like it's a towel under her wet hair to protect her hotel robe. They even have to change her robe because the first bright red robe overpowers the scarf and the silk slips all the time. She gets paid as a Gucci ambassador. We get it GUCCI!

Love her look though, especially want the shoes (so guess the promo worked).

I just returned from a couple of months travelling in Europe. I bought that scarf in Gucci, Rome as a little souvenir, different c/w, my first Gucci silk, it's so beautiful. ( note to self remember to put scarf on over dressing gown, when drying my hair!!! Lol. My husband will think I'm losing my marbles!!
Edited to add, I think she does look beautiful.
