D Rings

Hi everyone! I'm fairly new here so please be nice *smile* j/k I wanted to know how many people actually use the d-rings in their LVs? I think it's a wasted use of metal and leather. How many people actually carry a spring clasp key ring for this to be useful? I have round key rings and once I put a key on, it's there forever because it's a pain to open it back up.

Your thoughts or ideas! I hate for my many d rings to go to waste and unused.

I only use it in my speedy.I have a little flashlight attached to it.My speedy can be a deep pit.If the item is too heavy on the D-ring it can change the shape of a bag.

Actually I did the same thing in my Tivoli GM. I just think there HAS to be a better use for it.

I think I will use it in my keepall for a cles or pochette. Would be useful at the airport for storing important documents and such.

My cles is attached to the one in my speedy b, just because

I have to wear a badge to get in and out of work, so I clip my badge on the D ring..I never lose it and I can just touch my bag to the badge reader and in I go!

Good idea! I have to use my badge to ride the elevator or take the stairs. Let's just say...I've been stranded before. I can't imagine toting my purse everywhere.
