cuff or hinged oval bangle for daily wear?

I'm sorry for intruding on your thread katkrack, but I always thought Tiffany was THE brand that all American girls loved and craved? For a long time, Tiffany was in a really limited number of places in Europe, more difficult to get than other brands.
I didn't have luck with my bracelet, but I have earrings that I do love and wear

Oh, no, this is such great help to me! I sincerely appreciate all the feedback and honesty that's been shared here. Knowing helps others avoid expensive and frustrating mistakes.

I went to my jeweler today to try on bracelets. I tried this:

http://www.heartsonfire.com/shop-jewelry/bracelets/solitudediamondbracelet.aspx

It was really pretty, but I'm not concerned about having a solitaire smack dab in the middle. I also tried on a traditional tennis bracelet and that wasn't my thing either.

Eventually I tried on a 2.25 carat solitaire, for fun, and it ROCKED! It was gorgeous! I also tried on 1 carat per ear studs - pretty fantastic, too.

Back to the bracelet, I'm starting to question if what I'm seeking exists - unless I go for a Love cuff....

And this ^ is good to know. I've never purchased anything Tiffany (I a have hearts on fire ring, Memoire, a Cartier classic Trinity ring, a Cynthia Bach crown ring, then just random bands from local jewelrs). I always thought I wanted something from Tiffany but reading these posts makes me rethink that idea!
You are the only other person I've read on tpf who has mentioned Cynthia Bach jewelry.
I have a charm bracelet and it's TDF.

Have you looked at Hermès jewelry, or is too "cheap" considering how much you want to spend?

In the Hermès subforum, there is a thread about stacking bracelets. It's worth taking a look.
Stacking is mostly with enamel and or leather, but Hermès also offers silver and gold jewelry.

I love my Cynthia Bach crown ring! That is the single piece of jewelry I own that I get multiple compliments, daily, no matter where I am (work, grocery store, activity with my kids). I would love to see your charm bracelet!

You know, I do like the Hermes things that I have seen on this forum but I do not live in a city with a store. So, unless I go to Chicago (I think that is the nearest location) I never have the luxury of seeing anything in person. I will make it a point to check their items out more closely. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the heads up - I will definitely call first.
I finally made it to Tiffany and tried on:

Nothing was screaming for me to take it home. The metro bangle was the most 'interesting' to me but then I thought about the Bony Levy bangles that will go on sale at Nordstrom soon (yes, I have a 'thing' for a good deal!).

After visiting my jeweler earlier this week and trying on that whopper of a solitaire, maybe I am off the pricier bracelet and on to a solitaire upgrade - something that never seemed interesting to me before!

However, *quite* a price difference :) If I find the perfect bracelet that really speaks to me, that would be another thing. I have yet to try on the Robert Coin recommended by saligator (but I hope to very soon).

Sounds like you kind of decided already, but I love my two hinged diamond bangles. I also just got a tennis bracelet last year that I love. They are comfy.

Top and bottom are the bangles. The middle isn't my tennis bracelet. It's the Swarovski crystal bracelet that my friend gave as our girl trip favors.
