cuff or hinged oval bangle for daily wear?

Thanks for the great feedback. This is exactly what I am trying to research from people that have been wearing/own/owned these types of pieces already. I have thought about a love cuff because I like the idea that I *could* take it off and on but, still, I need a piece that is comfortable and durable for everyday wear. I'm just not a high maintenance kind of gal (although my husband might say otherwise) but I *love* jewelry and my wrist is pretty naked right now :):):)

Thanks again!

Round bangles don't seem comfortable for me for everyday. But then again my mother wears them all the time, I like oval especially since y wrist is petite. Tennis bracelet don't really call to me right now, however I would never say no to a Tiffany Victoria! Otherwise I prefer diamond oval bangles and next time I will go bigger or upgrade to more diamonds

I wish *something* would call to me! It also makes it challenging that I do not live in a city with a Cartier or VCA store (or really any major jewelry retailers except a Tiffany and/or a Neiman/Saks that carry a few things) and while I've seen a few designs I like from those two in particular, I need to try things on. Seeing pics online is not enough for me when making such a big decision. Thanks for your feedback!

I have contemplated something like this:

but I'm looking for feedback on comfort since I like to really 'wear' my things daily and typing makes it a little uncomfortable to wear truly round bangles.

I have the first one in silver, with a few charms: the lock with my initial, the cupcake, the blue enamel Tiffany gift, the panda bear.
I used to wear it every day, but I don't anymore, and I must confess I'm very disappointed in Tiffany.
First, when coming home after a shopping trip, I found a golden stick in my bag. I was too heavy to be a pit of wrapping paper... it turned out to be the panda's bamboo.

Then, the lock opened itself without my noticing, and I lost it. It was the most expensive of my charms, and the first I got :(

Still, I wore my bracelet with the 3 remaining charms. One day, my kid hung himself on my wrist, and that broke the gift. I found the gift on the floor, and the ring was still on the bracelet. I gave both to my dad, and he took them both to a Tiffany store on one of his business trips. He got it back a few months later. They had fixed the attachment, and replaced the nice silver ring with a huge ternished ring :(
The repair only lasted a week before it broke again (and nothing special was happening).

After that, I went to my local no-brand jewellery store, ordered a 50cm silver chain for 40€, and now wear the panda and cupcake as a sautoir (long necklace)

Also, I switched to Pandora, and now avoid bangle charms ;)

Here is the picture of what's left of my collection ;) you can see the ugly ring they used (and I just noticed that the gift didn't age well)

Oh my goodness! I am so sorry this happened to you. And thank you very much for sharing your story. This will help me (and others) from making an expensive mistake. The SA at Tiffany did tell me they have had some issues with the spring mechanism on these charm bracelets. The rest is very disappointing. I would expect better service from Tiffany!

Yes, even though it was "only" silver, they should have told my husband that the lock could open itself, and they should have soldered it before selling it, since it was meant to be worn on the bracelet.
As I didn't go to the store myself, I couldn't complain about the repair of the gift...

I'm really disappointed, because the charms are really pretty, and quite expensive compared to other brands. The bracelet however is not at fault, and my daughter once wore it with 8 of the 13 links ;)

I think you need to go to a jeweler and try on pieces. It's easier to have sometjing speak to you when it's on your wrist lol

You are so right. I am planning to carve out some time in the next week or so to just go try a few things. So far as trying on anything Cartier or VCA, that will have to wait until a vacation/trip.

I have the link bracelet. Mine is loaded with charms but it is pretty enough to wear plain.
There is also a necklace version. I've often thought it would be nice to have because this way you really have both a bracelet and a necklace in one.

That is beautiful! Do you plan to wear it daily? It is gorgeous!

Yes. Currently it's wrapped waiting for me to finish my project (it is my incentive prize), but after that, yes.

I expect it to get a bit dinged and scratched and I'm ok with that. It fits like a cuff, doesn't roll around on the wrist. Cuffs are usually too oval for my arms, but this bracelet is beautiful. It has a perfect heft.
