Isn't this the bracelet with the links that open?
I didn't think you had to solder the charms on this style.
Mine is gold and fully loaded. It really only leaves the safe on Mother's Day.

Yes, the links open, and you don't need to solder the charms. However, when I told them that I had lost the lock, they said that since the lock can be opened just like a real one, it should have been soldered to prevent it from opening itself. Which is easier to say afterwards...

This is the lock that I had.

Yes. Currently it's wrapped waiting for me to finish my project (it is my incentive prize), but after that, yes.

I expect it to get a bit dinged and scratched and I'm ok with that. It fits like a cuff, doesn't roll around on the wrist. Cuffs are usually too oval for my arms, but this bracelet is beautiful. It has a perfect heft.

Congrats on finishing your project. I am definitely going to try to find this bracelet in my area so I can give it a try. Thanks again for sharing!

I have the link bracelet. Mine is loaded with charms but it is pretty enough to wear plain.
There is also a necklace version. I've often thought it would be nice to have because this way you really have both a bracelet and a necklace in one.

I looked at the necklace a couple years ago and thought the same thing about having a bracelet/necklace in one. Maybe it is time to revisit that idea!

I see.
Sorry that you lost your lock.

Here is the picture of what's left of my collection ;) you can see the ugly ring they used (and I just noticed that the gift didn't age well)
I've been disappointed in Tiffany quality too. My key bent and is all out of shape. The silver sort of wears away in no time at all. I have $100.00 in gift cards to spend and then I think I'm done with Tiffany.
Sorry about your gift. I'd take it to a regular jeweler and get a new ring.

I've wanted the same kind of thing. A love bracelet look but not the love bracelet. I looked at Tiffany and they didn't have anything that was cuff or oval bangle that I liked. I don't like round bangles because they hurt my wrist and I have to take them off at work. A cuff bracelet is comfortable on my wrist. I have been wearing that style since I was a teenager. I think my jeweler is my best option to get a cuff in gold. I looked last time I was in but he didn't have anything. I figure by the time he does I'll have moved on to something else. Good Luck.

Exactly! I have a lot of limitations on my time so I feel like I never have a ton of time to look (therefore I look online but there is no way to know how functional a bracelet will be until you try it on). If you find anything, please let me know!

And this ^ is good to know. I've never purchased anything Tiffany (I a have hearts on fire ring, Memoire, a Cartier classic Trinity ring, a Cynthia Bach crown ring, then just random bands from local jewelrs). I always thought I wanted something from Tiffany but reading these posts makes me rethink that idea!

I love these oval bangles in sapphires and diamonds by Bony Levy for Nordstrom. I layer 2-3 of them, wear them alone or layer one with other delicate bangles or a watch.

They come in multiple sizes and are incredibly comfortable. Very sparkly, too!

I was at Nordstrom the other day and the SA showed these to me and remarked that they would be part of the anniversary sale. Maybe it's a sign! Thanks for the feedback. They are beautiful.

No problem! I am addicted to these. Nordstrom will also track down the right size or color for you if they don't have what you want in store.

The bangles are on sale 2-3 times a year, which is how I've built my little collection. :graucho:

I received a pair of Tiffany gold bow earrings for christmas. I was so excited until I opened the box and realized that not only were the backings not tight and secure but there was also a huge dent in one of the earrings. I contacted Tiffany customer service and didn't receive a reply for TWO weeks. Finally I posted a message on their facebook page and their customer service got back to me saying they'd pay for return shipping...I had already shipped the item back at my own expense! I'll never purchase from T&Co. again. I'd rather add to my Cartier collection and get a few VCA pieces.

I'm sorry for intruding on your thread katkrack, but I always thought Tiffany was THE brand that all American girls loved and craved? For a long time, Tiffany was in a really limited number of places in Europe, more difficult to get than other brands.
I didn't have luck with my bracelet, but I have earrings that I do love and wear
