There are a billion for sale on Facebook right now. Literally as soon as they were released the Facebook groups exploded with posts. Some of them are not much above retail, I think people preordered whatever they could from this collection and then sold all but 1 or 2.
Since the collection has only been out for a little over a week, I feel like it's still too early to tell what inventory fell into the hands of resellers vs collectors. Per nicole0612, it seems like a lot of inventory hit independent resellers (private groups, facebook); then we see more items on eBay/PM/Tradesy; it takes 1-3 weeks for consignment sites to processes listings, so I have a feeling more items will pop up on FP, TRR, Yoogi's in the coming weeks.

It bares repeating, but if you're fortunate enough to be close to multiple boutiques, do keep an eye on each store's physical inventory as stores in NY really are receiving restocks and/or returns daily.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Most of the listings have been for the NFs which I knew was readily available online for purchase. LV can't really filter out the resellers when it's sold online. For the hard to get items that were sent to select boutiques, I felt it was rare to come across one on the the secondary market. At my local boutique, I was told by the manager that they had a waitlist for those who reserved the coeur bag but that she and the assistant manager were the ones who eventually decided who the bag went to. They knew the bag was limited and wanted the very few quantities to go to clients who have been loyal and appreciated the brand. The same went for SLGS from this collection (card holder, bandeau, etc..) Even with all the hype around the prism keepall, I felt like when it first launched, I saw sooo many on eBay. So far on eBay, I've only seen 2, maybe 3 coeur bag. On the 1 LV FB group (200k members) that I am apart of, I don't think I've seen any listed? None on FP, unless it sold immediately. And this bag is going for big bucks and if enough of them went to resellers, I think we've seen more available on the resell market.

ETA: I follow a handful of resellers on IG as well and have not seen any of them post any of the hard to find items. Again, the NF is the only one that I've seen. And these are the resellers who always seem to have a speedy nano listed every other week for premium prices.

I can’t speak for other items, but I moved heaven and earth to try to buy the Coeur bag, so that’s the only one that I’ve been following. On Facebook in the last two days there been at least 3 that I personally saw for sale just in one group. I would guess there were more because I don’t check Facebook that often, and the ones I did see were deleted after they sold. On IG I have seen 4 sold so far. The prices have ranged from quite reasonable, at $2700 to about $4500. Only 3-4 were in the USA, but it does make me think that the “only 30 Coeur bags in the USA” info cannot possibly be true.

wow i must have missed all of these - what group was this in? and which IG sellers?

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I kind of like that this collection was so limited, a true limited edition release. And I'm glad that most, most of the items went to true collectors/loyal longtime LV clients. I know FP always gets some reseller stock, but I've just checked now and it seems like they're not saturated like with the other LE releases. Comes to show that these pieces were sold to customers who really wanted them for their collection vs. for resell.

On the one hand, I can appreciate a limited release. On the other hand, this one felt very wrong. I read this thread watching people able to pre-order bags from various sources (through SAs, Client Services calls/chat). Nobody I spoke to was able to pre-order any items.

I went into my boutique a few days after launch as I was picking up something else. I joked to my SA that I’d have to step things up so I can get VIC status to pre-order the next collection. Imagine my surprise when she told me my profile was flagged as VIC and that she’d been trying for months to order/pre-order/special order the items I’d sent her when promo for this collection first came out.

I actually felt quite bad after our chat because she’s spent so many hours trying to source my wishlist but nobody at my boutique (including the manager) or any of their close contacts could get any information about this collection.

Not that I think I’m anybody special lol but I’ve seen several of the insanely limited bag I wanted (that I thought for cut from production) up on resale sites.

I guess longtime VICs could have snapped up everything they could to resell, but based on how quickly stuff is already out there it seems like it was more luck than anything else.

I did not "snap up" the items I was able to purchase from the Game On collection (coeur bag, speedy b 25, card case and kirigami) to resell. I resent being lumped into a negative stereotype. As I mentioned previously, I am a very longtime LV client who consistently purchases new collections and very rarely make returns. I have no idea how pieces were allocated- I have missed out on past hard to get limited pieces myself. It may have been luck or just my turn to get offered this collection's limited pieces.

I guess this is a place to complain and express angst about "the one that got away" but at a certain point, we all need to move on.

i texted my CA today to see if she had any luck. I had asked for the Coeur immediately after seeing pics. I asked her for the Speedy more recently since I didn't realize it was a 25 until release. She din't get back to me yet, but I told her no worries, I just need to know if she thinks it's mission impossible or not...lol.

Not OP, but I just reread her last paragraph, and I think she is actually saying that she does *not* think it seems like long-standing VICs are the ones selling right away. In any case it is obvious you love the brand and I am very sincerely happy for you, and I’m sure everyone in this thread is.

I really don't think you should be taking these comments personally. I agree that I don't think the OP was saying that VIC snapped up everything, she was saying it seemed to be more luck actually. You are saying to move on, but you got the pieces you wanted and others are just venting and expressing their frustration because they were probably excited for months only to not have a real shot at getting most items. Remember this collection has only been out a week! I have personally never seen such limited availability in the 10+ years I have been buying LV. If it's true they only made 100 heart bags that is definitely disheartening (no pun intended). I have personally given up on the heart bag. I had the option to pre-order and I'm not a VIC, I passed for some silly reason and now I'm just like ok, I give up, after contacting CS again and a couple SAs.

I say this with kindness, if the comments are bothering you, perhaps you might go to a different thread? The frustration I'm seeing is at LV, not at VIC or anyone who was able to get pieces. TPF is the only place where someone can vent about not getting a $2,100 heart-shaped bag and not feel silly or judged. :hugs::flowers:

Thank you! I actually had to go back and read what I wrote and who I quoted because I couldn’t figure out what I’d said that struck such a nerve.

It’s absolutely frustration at LV. I’m not mad at VICs (and apparently am one myself) or non VICs who were able to order/pre-order and get items. Good for you and wear them in good health! It does seem like luck more than anything.

A lot of my comment was also that I don’t think all the pieces went to true LV lovers as I’ve seen so many on sale for huge markups. I also can’t be too mad at this, it’s kind of the entire premise of commodities exchanges. It happens everyday with corn and OJ, why not LV haha. I’m just frustrated I didn’t get what I wanted, of course.

Don’t give up. My boutique has had things trickle in one piece at a time for the past week. Sadly, it wasn’t anything I was eyeing but it seems like the pieces aren’t all completely gone just yet.

Agree wholeheartedly (pun intended?) - thank you for putting it in such eloquent terms. I've been going back to this TPF thread for weeks now (since the release date) and it's oddly cathartic to commiserate with other people who get it and have the same frustrations as me for not being able to get this bewitched heart bag!!

If anyone is on Facebook, check the LV groups. I've been seeing the cruise collection pop up there, no heart bag though. Mostly neverfulls but some speedys and slgs. There's a black vanity too.

I passed on this collection, but it still bothers me that people bought these items and quickly put it on resale. Maybe someone bought it and didn't like it. I understand that part. What I don't get are the people who decided it didn't work for them, and then proceed to make a profit instead.

I received a faulty Game On neverfull. And as expected, no more stock for exchange. So I have to return it. Broken hearted, but I don’t want to accept it. Here is my small Game On family.

I’m sorry. This seems to be happening frequently. Two of my online orders had to be returned due to terrible packaging. I think it’s still available now online so if you really have to have this bag, worth giving it one more go!
