OH yes, very very different. The patent was very shiny, felt like plastic and looked really fake. It didn't feel like leather. Looks like leather, and feel genuine. downloadfile.jpeg Personally, I will never buy a patent bag ever again. Totally not me.

I find that you can't really fit your wallet (of any size in there)... the back pocket without the zipper has about 4 card slots. You can use the pockets or a thin card holder. You can fit your phone into the middle open pocket and then there's a zippered front pocket where you can fit your keys/lipstick and maybe some change... If you stuff it, it distort's the shape. I find it a great bag to use in a larger tote for work or when I go out with the kids and I can just use it as a crossbody wallet when I need to.

Just got this crossbody and I really like it [emoji173]️ It's about the size of medium Selma messenger with more compartments [emoji4] But I will return this bag as I already have 2 bags in DD. Michaelkors.com has this bag in variety of colors including antique rose and cinder I have an eye on [emoji16]
