I love cross body bags and its a pain with my bra cup size. One thing that helps is to have other things that break up the area, like a scarf, button down, etc. I know a lot were concerned with the length, but the cleavage cradling is my concern!!

2nd! You're part of what convinced me to get a Willis! Now I need to go investigate what the last bag is. I think it's what everyone calls a baby sage, but I never have figured out why.

I think it is either a full size sage or a laila. I don't know the differences either. The baby sage is the kristin round satchel, which is smaller hence the nickname.

This! I feel uncomfy with the strap outlining and drawing attention to my boob lol

Does anyone here who is plus size carry their bags cross body? I don't have any crossbody bags, but I'm nervous about buying one. I WANT a crossbody bag(duffle or isabelle probably), but I want to be able to wear it crossbody. I'm a size 20/22, and I also am pretty big chested. So I'm worried I won't be able to wear the bags crossbody like I want. I'm nervous to try one on crossbody in the story because what if I try to put it on and it won't fit? That would be so embarassing! So is anyone here a larger girl who wears cross body bags? How do they fit? TIA!

I am notorious for taking a bag back. I used to think it was my size and I'm a 24 but I realized that at 5'7 the problem is probably my height. I prefer a crossbody style when it comes to Coach. My husband bought me the Penny for Christmas and I took it back. It just felt awkward. I'm busty but I think even without much bust it would have been awkward. This past weekend I bought the poppy leather perri hippie and was very disappointed in the length so today I will take it back for a legacy rambler which has a 48 in strap.

I'm glad I came to this forum because the tips to extend the strap will help when I need to extend the strap on a bag I've fallen in love with.

Thank you everyone!!!! I think I'm going to wait until September to buy a crossbody bag, when i go to the outlet :) (its almost a 4hr drive so my MIL is taking me for my birthday) HOPEFULLY they have some at that time, if not, oh well! I still don't know what I'm buying with my PCE but I only have 5 days to figure it out! haha. I'm still nervous to try on crossbody bags, but I am only 5'4", however I'm a DD in the boob area, so I'm nervous about that part now! ha.

I ended up getting the Courtenay. I love it. It's a good size the top of the bag hits at my waist but the bulk of the bag is at the hip and I love it. It's not leather which may explain it's ability to mold onto me. I'm very pleased!

Remember, the wider a bag is across the top, the less constricting it's going to feel across the chest. You have to factor in not just the strap length but the actual distance between the two ends of the strap. A bag that's only 8 or 9 inches across the top is going to fit tighter and sit higher than a bag that's 13 or 14 inches across, even if they both have the exact same strap length. That's why I usually buy bags that are at least 13 or 14 inches across the top.

I have a duffle and a Willis. The duffle feels a bit bulky when I wear it cross body but that doesn't stop me. When I need my hands I need my hands! I also have a willis and that feels much better cross body. I'm pretty sure it's because of the thinner strap on the Willis. I'm a little on the short side so they always sit on my hip. The Willis sits a little lower because the strap is a bit longer.

I have been told many times on here that if you love a bag, it doesn't matter what others think. If you want to rock a bag you ROCK IT! I would rather have a bag for my comfort and enjoyment than someone else's. If you try it on and it's comfortable and you love the style - get it! You will not be sorry!
