I have a L26 but in noir - it is one of my most used bags in my collection. Beton is one of my favorite colors and I have a GP30 in Beton - love it too. A L26 in Beton would be divine, for me!

Remembered this thread because today I took my Beton Evie out for a quick errand, and didn’t think much of the black linen shorts I was wearing. When I got home I noticed some very obvious color transfer (I carry Evies H side facing inwards)…

Thanks! It was mostly just water! Lightly damp cloth* and gently rubbing in circles worked like a charm. After that there were some bits that still seemed a bit dark to me, so I used a tiny amount of leather cleaner. I have the Apple brand which I’m pretty I bought because it was the first one I found on Amazon and reviews seemed decent.
*I actually used disposable facial towels which is something I have on hand already as skincare products - if you haven’t heard of them, they are like clean, dry baby wipes. But I’m sure a cloth will work just as well.
Sadly, no experience with evercolor in Beton. But I have evercolor leather bags and SLGs in gold, blue nuit and anemone. They all are holding up v well. Still look like I just got them yesterday (they are 5/6 yo already).
This gives me some hope! I really want to get a bag this shade, but don’t feel that in enough of an adult to be trusted with it!
My 2 cents is a pass. I owned a craie lindy 26 before and as much as it was so beautiful and I am very careful with all my bags, the corners inevitably showed dirt. I had to protect the handles all the time with twillies. It was just horrible and stressful carrying that bag. I was soooo happy to have sold it off. I had a phobia of white or light colored bags after that.
Thanks for posting this! I have been wanting to add another Evie to my collection (it's my most-used style) and I really want a light colored one (ideally craie or beton) since my current colors are all dark/neutrals. While I am generally a pretty aware person with my handbags, I'm a mama with littles and it's not unheard of that I end up hustling and forgetting to be ultra-careful, so I've always just assumed that I could get away with this with a darker bag but never a lighter one... but thanks to you I think I totally could, so yay for that and for you since now I will ask my SA for one with summer coming!

So side note, Is there a definitive place where you've posted all the ones you own? I know you shared photos a while back, but for the life of me I can't find that post (and I'm sure it'd been updated since it's been a few years!)
