I sent a bag to Couture USA a week ago. They use FedEx sure post (first mistake). Not sure why but I felt uneasy and dropped it off anyway.
My bag (they quoted me $1200.00) is stalled out, no movement for 2 days. I was a bit worried and asked if they insure them and they do not. They said it was too expensive!!
I share this as a warning, I would never send a high value item like Chanel or Hermes to a reseller who doesn’t insure the packages.
It may all be fine, it may start moving again but to say I am nervous is an understatement. Ugh
I don’t think I have any recourse in this case. Does anyone know?
