Nota bene, I wish people stopped saying Love line is ‘entry level’.
It’s a collection which is en mass produced but by all means not cheap. It’s also discourteous to call Love or Trinity ‘entry level’, they are mass appealing designs great in their own right.
Personally I got Love not because it was the cheapest - entry level - I could afford from Cartier but because I like the simplicity/clean lines in case of Love and 100 years of history behind the Trinity as well as the interesting puzzle that the 3 connected rings are. I have no desire for any other Cartier line, this is just down to my current ‘taste’. I don’t understand why people say ‘entry level’, it just cheapens the years of iconic status those Cartier collections acquired over the years of existing successfully on the market.

I agree with this completely . I actually don't like cartier's "higher end" pieces at all . I love the love and juc designs . I love that they suit my style.
I never knew love was the cheapest as I never checked out their other collections properly other than JUC , trinity and d'amour. I don't personally like the other designs at all regardless of their pricing or status . For example I would never wear a panthere piece if it was given to me . ( my personal taste )
I don't feel like they are entry level as entry to what ? I'm not interested in anything else they have to offer .

You've definitely misunderstood my intention behind what I'm asking.
I'm currently torn between wanting the small juc and regular juc but can't wear both ( also not sure on diamonds or no diamonds in the regular )
Your best bet is to go to a boutique and try them on, if that's an option for you. You won't know which one is best for you until you wear them.
Take pictures of them on your wrist if you remain unsure and then revisit the pictures after a short break to look at them with fresh eyes, which will hopefully make one stand out more than the rest.

I’m not an expert but I don’t see the slimmer models as having been introduced because they would be cheaper and more accessible to people with less money to spend, I feel like they were introduced because people would like the option of additional sizes. I don’t think the original Love bracelet is that chunky but I have a couple of friends who think it is quite a big piece.

I love the JUC range but when I tried on the larger sized Juc it was just enormous on me and I didn’t like it on at all, that felt really big and chunky and I do prefer more delicate pieces. I am definitely looking at getting the small Juc now that they have bought it out in white gold as I feel the size of it suits me so much better.

If you opt for the smaller Juc I honestly wouldn’t worry that people will think you bought it because it’s the cheaper one, it’s a gorgeous piece and to the majority of people it’s still really expensive for a bracelet

Simple logic dictates that the more expensive something is, the fewer people there are who have the means to purchase it. If in your real life you have seen "too many" people wearing a piece of jewelry you want and that bothers you, then don't get it. If you haven't seen a lot of people wearing it in your real life, then get it. Doesn't seem more complicated than that to me.

I definitely need to go again. I've only tried on the regular white gold with diamonds ... none of the others . I actually loved it when I tried it on . Prior to that I actually didn't like the juc . In person it was stunning . Now I love it in photos and videos but in real life you just know when it makes your heart sing

I think it's more what I personally think or thought that was issue for me . It's obviously not common opinion here.
I don't think anyone else is looking at my bracelets judging their value.
I do find the love bracelet a little chunky when layering with my other bracelets. It's my second most chunky piece after the tiffany diamond atlas bangle .

I don't really see people wearing Cartier in real life except at Harrods and the Cartier sloane square store 😅

I have both a slim plain JUC and a regular diamond JUC. I prefer the regular diamond but I still wear my slim on weekends when I want to be more casual and when I don’t want a heavy wrist stack.

Personally I think all of it is expensive, but the degree is so individual it’s not worth worrying about. Forget what people think and focus on what you like better. For example, even though I adore the regular diamond one, it is super heavy and sometimes bothers me. I know plenty of people on TPF and FB who have massive collections (also pave Loves) who wear a slim JUC. I think it’s all personal preference. It’s impossible to make a blanket statement about the financials of people who wear these bracelets. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I think I understood what you were saying. Ultimately you need to get what you love and I know you’re struggling to decide between the two but if the slim one is the one that makes your heart sing that’s the one to get 😊

Interesting discussion here; never thought about that. I like the fact that Cartier offers something for every budget ... but okay "every" budget starts not at zero $$$. The ones wearing a full pavé reg Love are in the same boat as the sm Love ones even if they are 20 times or so more expensive. And a single sm can be even more elegant than a full pavé.

What worries me a bit as a Richemont (=Cartier) stock holder - and I asked that many times in the boutique - that so many different options require lots of stock which is expensive to keep.

This is so true, I find myself more inclined to think someone is wearing fakes if they are quite young and have lots of expensive pieces whereas if I see someone with one nice piece I am more inclined to think they’re quite comfortable with their wealth and not trying to prove it. That’s just me though and probably a lot more based on social media and seeing influencers advertising their many fakes they’ve bought from eBay or a dodgy handbag selling site, I might not have been as aware of all the fakes if it wasn’t for social media. You can never know someone’s wealth just from their appearance I don’t think.

That's basically all I meant by my original post

I definitely don't believe everyone who chooses the slim version is doing it for budget reasons but I felt like it does make it more accessible to those who couldn't afford a regular juc .
I'm not overly worried about it but was hoping it was a topic to discuss that could help sway my decision for or against one or the other

This 100% . When I was 19 to 25 people did assume my jewellery was fake. Even my pandora which was the solid gold version at the time was assumed fake online and irl .
I got my cartier love when I was 23 or 24 and people assumed it was fake

I actually LOVE the small pave and I prefer it to the regular pave because I think it looks so pretty next to a classic love bracelet.
It's my favourite of the small versions and I love the ring of it too .
The main thing putting me off the small juc is hearing it's hollow and seeing photos of It fully snapped
