Considering a HALZAN. Any negatives?

Really? Discontinued?! So sorry to hear that. It seems so many Hermes fans love the Halzan. I have seriously been tempted in the last few months to buy one, but I am not so sure I want to make the investment now... So sad.

I don't understand your reasoning. If you buy a Halzan and then they are discontinued, what's the matter? You already have one. Sorry if I misunderstand.

The swift leather is too fragile and needs to be baby. It can also lose shape (sag at the base) if u put too much heavy stuff

I have a Halzan 31 Bleu Nuit Clemence with GHW and love it as a casual every day bag. I mostly have it as a shoulder style because I find it more suitable to my lifestyle. I like Halzan better than my Evelyn bag because it seems more “elegant” with slim leather strap.

I agree with others that Halzan 31 may not be a good evening bag. I think it is a must- have bag if you are truly love Hermes for its simplicity and style.
