Horrendous! I’m so sorry you experienced that! I have an 1837 necklace (in silver) from 2008 and I still wear it! Aside from two pairs of earrings (which are in platinum), all of my pieces from Tiffany are in silver. I mean, it’s literally what they are known for! I recently took my RTT heart earrings from 2009 to get cleaned and have the backs tightened. During the same trip, I brought with a few other silver earrings. My SA loved all of my pieces; and loved that I was still wearing them all these years later. This SA might want to look for another job - maybe at a place that doesn’t sell silver.
