I just commented on your HG bag reveal thread that I saw in the Authenticate thread that you broke your ban! We were apparently on the same wavelength ;)


Sapphire is gorgeous! Can't wait for your pics too! BTW, thanks again for all your help with the RT! :heart:

I replied to you over there. We need to star a Ban Island Thread. Really, we need to support each other, we are surrounded by enablers! ;) :search:

I couldn't pass it up, I was >this close< to buying that Mogano Day but the lack of cards and mirror stopped me. I wear my DN Day so frequently that I really wanted at least 2 in that style so that they won't get worn out. Sapphire seems like a blueish purple and should go with many outfits.

I'm excited for you too! As you also know, Sapphire was also in my list (and I ultimately went for RT, which I think was the right decision given what's currently in my "collection" - if you can call it that :laugh:). Thanks again, and I should be doing a reveal of my RT in a few days! :D


P.S. There's a bag ban thread on the Handbags and Purses subforum, but we might eventually need one specific to Bal, since Bal's level of addictiveness is really off the roof. :laugh:

I thought of you when I was looking at it & I was thinking..."remember the threads about fading...you should step away..." . Ultimately the 14 day return policy swayed me, if it is more faded than in the pics I can return. I really hope it's not though, the seller was very reassuring about the condition of the bag.
I think RT was a great buy & at that price...with the old leather (we all need at least 1 with the old leather), I had that bag on my watch list for a long time. I am hoping she digs some more nearly new B Bags out of storage :p

I think we really do need our own, only B Bag addicts can understand each other. :laugh:

<sigh> Sign me up for the Bad Girls' Club. I need to save my money for finishing some house remodeling projects, as I no longer have a hubby and have one child in college and one starting driving. But I agree that everyone needs a chèvre &#128519; bag and so I am waiting the delivery of my Vert Gazon RH City that I purchased pre-loved. I guess I better grab my miter saw and drill and finish this remodeling myself so I can save a little &#128181;&#128176;.

Speaking of chèvre, I'm waiting for the Mogano Day. Thanks, rainneday, for having it authenticated; you beat me to the punch on that request (but I had already asked the seller to post picks of rivet). This bag is in the HG range for me, especially in pristine condition.

And, btw, rainneday, I'm surprised that you went for the Sapphire Day, and not the Raisin--was that to add chèvre, and a different season's purple, to your collection (because you had just gotten that lovely Raisin Day)?

Oh yay!!!!! A TPFer got it! I am so glad :smile1: and your HG too! :D

Well, I was very close to buying the Mogano, but I was messaging with the seller and I knew that I wasn't going to offer her what I felt (and she knew) it was worth, so I skipped it.
I saw your winning bid (you can see the Best Offer result by clicking on "print" on the listing) and am pleasantly surprised :D that she accepted it! That bag has dreamy leather. If it came with the mirror and tags I would have gone for it, I am very particular about having the tags. But if that isn't a big deal then you cannot beat the condition or price on that one. I hope you do a reveal when it arrives!

The Sapphire, well...yes, I have a Raisin City so I didn't want to be redundant. Also, Sapphire was the first B Bag purple that I fell in love with in pics. I had read so many posts about it fading that I was put off, but now, I have a few purple Bals so I should be able to rotate it enough so that it won't rapidly fade. I wasn't really looking for it when it popped up, it caught my eye because it was a Day style, really, and then after looking at the pics 10,000,000 times I decided to grab it.

I am so pleased that you are going to give the Mogano the use that it deserves!

ETA I think the Sapphire is the new leather not the Chevre, it does have that squishy look to it though!

The problem with Ban Island, of course, would be that it wouldn't work unless the internet were disabled. But then we wouldn't be able to communicate with each other to help everyone stay banned. A paradox, indeed!
