Tomorrow ......

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace [carrying my Bal] from day to day,
To the last [Balenciaga] of recorded time [hopefully never!];
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools [those who carry fakes]
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief ["IT"-bags]!
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player [carrying a Kar-trashian 'inspired' bag]
That struts [her Moto-style] hours upon the stage
And then is heard no more [when in Bal-rehab]. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury [when her Bal's are taken away]
Signifying nothing .. [except GIVE ME MY Bal-bags!!!!]

~ Macbeth (Act 5, Scene 5, lines 17-28) & [CeeJay]

I think / hope I'm waiting for a 2007 Vert Fonce work, just ordered it from Vestiaire Collective, it has a U on the tag according to the seller, so fingers crossed as it was a bargain

'U' is indeed 2007 - and would be Vert Fonce!!! If the leather looks luscious beyond belief, then it definitely is a Vert Fonce!

Did anyone else have to memorize 1 or 2 Shakespeare soliloquies? I had an English teacher in high school who was a Shakespeare "nut" (she was also an Shakespearean actress) .. who insisted that we had to memorize (by heart) 2 soliloquies and recite them in front of the class in order to graduate .. uggh!

Congrats!!! I was eyeing one on another site, but the price was too high. I can't wait to see your pics! Vestaire Collective is a beacon of Bal goodies.

Ta. The pics were awful and the seller said it was from 2010 but the leather looked awesome and not like light olive, then she confirmed it said U on the tag so I jumped on it. It's great being in Europe, less delivery fees and no import duty. If it is a nice vert fonce I'll be ecstatic; I never thought I'd find one I could afford :-)

:faint: (next sticky--"Thespians and their Balenciaga-inspirations")

Here's mine (ahem, ahem)

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Bal
I sure am a lucky Gal,
'Cause I have a bunch of you--
And my Forum Friends do, too.
When we cannot sleep at night
We read Shakespeare by lamplight, (well, CeeJay does--I read Dr. Seuss)
Brit Lit makes us think of Bags (what doesn't?)
'til our little eyelids sag.
Then we close our tired peepers,
Put our Bals back in their sleepers.
Twinkle, Twinkle, Lovely Bals
Aren't we lucky, Forum Gals (and Guys)?

Ok, I know--CeeJay is way more sophisticated (no surprise, there). But hey-- it's catchy! besides, I blame CeeJay for my bad poetry. She started it.

Yup, went through the same.
But we didn't have toe recite them but fill in the blanks in our exams and essay part is to interpret what it means in our lives.
So I would rather recite.:D
