Exciting!
Wonder which red it could be:thinkin: I know you love Tomato... I don't think I've ever seen one with GGH. Or perhaps Ruby GGH?

Well, a PT obviously if it's your fave style. I'm going to go with Ruby for favourite red ... Tomato second (you have two Tomato PT's but that's GSH, non?).
Right, scratch that, it's a Tomato GGH PT, yes?

EDIT: was it ever established that this was your favourite red though? :thinkin:

Well, I think it's Rubisse (the seller just said 'Red'). Almost positive that it's not Tomato because typically, Tomato had a very distinct distressing to it's leather which I must say I j'adore!!!

As far as my favorite Red, that's tough .. I do typically tend to favor a red with some blue undertones (Rubisse & Rouge Theatre), but I must say that I just LOVE Coquelicot which I consider to be a 'true' (clean) Red. Typically, I don't like Reds with orange undertones (Rouge Vermillon & Sang), but I do love Tomato .. but like I said, the leather was uniformly fantastic on the Tomato bags and that's a huge criteria for me.

All I can say that it more than made up for my truly HORRIFIC day yesterday! Whilst still at work (in the evening), there was a 3-alarm fire at one of the hotels across the street from our office (and the Copley Mall complex). It blew out a major generator, so here I am .. at my desk working on this massive Project Plan (which has taken a good month to organize all the tasks, resources & allocations, $$$, etc.) .. and then all of a sudden .. TOTAL BLACKNESS!!! Since my desk is towards the back of the building where there is no natural light, I couldn't see anything! Thankfully after a very long 15 minutes, the "emergency" lights came on .. and I could get to the other Tower (where I met up with some of my colleagues who were also stuck in the blackout). We had to be evacuated via the emergency stairwells, and then I had to use my iPhone Flashlight to find my car in the garage! The whole entire area of the City was pitch black; I felt so bad for all the tourists who were evacuated from their hotels and made to stand outside not even knowing where they were .. and then to be beeped & screamed at by the quintessential "Boston driver"!! Needless to say, we are all working in D/R mode .. still no access to the building and not sure when it will be available again. Sorry to ramble on, but after that episode, the bag kind of made my day!!!

CeeJay, oh no, so sorry to hear about that...how terrible! So your work was lost, no automatic backup or something?
At least this bag made your day better:smile1: Ruby and Tomato have very different leather so if it is more matte and not as "fluffy" if ykwim, I guess it's a Ruby. Either way, it sounds lovely!

Yes!! I was right ... or maybe not, lol.
Anyway, I knew it couldn't be Coquelicot, no matter how much you love it, since you've been waiting two years.
I hope it is indeed Ruby, there's something about the undertone that goes so well with GGH.

Sorry to hear about the blackout. We actually had a 1½ hour blackout a few weeks ago, while I was at work. It can be quite stressful. I hope you didn't loose all your work :-s

Hi, I just ordered something purple from RDC and I'm so freakin' excited I had to post somewhere on the forum. This seems like a good spot!

If I wasn't preggers right now I'd totally be mixing up a martini or something to celebrate. Thanks for letting me share.

This may just be my HG, although I didn't know it 'til I saw it.

That sounds awful! I can see why finding your bag made your day...it was meant to be!

Yeah .. it's pretty serious; our offices are still closed .. and they still don't have an ETA on when they will be open!! I've already written up my complaint to the Fire Commissioner re: the Garage; should be interesting to see the response that I get .. I'm really steamed about that!

I would be too, glad you put in a complaint; it sounds like the whole incident was horribly mismanaged. I'm also in the middle of hell-week- we're swamped in the office and I got rear ended yesterday on the freeway going into the city by, a maniac who jumped out of his car and started screaming at me. I had to call the cops and everything- this all happened in the POURING rain too. Bad days all-around, but today's been better, thank god. Hope yours is too and please enjoy this virtual cocktail ; it's on me:p.

Also, on a happier (but far more wallet draining) note, I find myself in the waiting lounge with you all once again, awaiting a 2007 stunner:D.
