I don't think the LMB or Balenciaga cream will bring back the glaze (if there was something that could I would be so happy!) but it definitely could improve the leather. Ink is such a great color!

Do you have a picture of the bag? You can post under the Care and Maintenance thread and ask people's opinion. If it's not too bad and you really love the color/style, some nourish cream (from Balenciaga or LMB) might bring the glaze back?

Thank you, I did post about the fading and lack of glaze and had a helpful response, still not sure :-(

Not sure what you mean by "glaze," because the finish varies - from really sort of hard and shiny to a much softer look, depending on the bag. Me, personally, I don't like the harder glaze - and that's what I think of as "glaze."

But if what you want is sheen and restoration of the soft glow that comes with some of the bags, I think the Honey Leather Conditioner (and probably the Bal Cream) works really well. I just put some of the Honey stuff on my anthracite (which has gotten pretty dull) and it's amazing. I didn't do the bag itself yet, just the edges - but it now looks harder, shinier and more...glinty.

I'd definitely post a picture in the care and maintenance thread.

ordered my first bal 2 days ago..it said mine should be here on valentine's day! how special is that :yahoo: but oh wait! been almost 60 hours ..still havent heard anything from them except confirmation of the order. maybe its hard to get my color since its not popular?
