Waiting for a 2006 Ink Day with RH. Really wanted an ink and also my first with RH

I just ordered my first bbag, a black city with the new mRGgH and I can't wait for it to come! I pulled the trigger and ordered it from mytheresea, even though shipping was $60, I save on tax so it was cheaper than ordering from barney's or bal.com.
I've been oogling this bag since august and was waiting for the new hardware to come out. I even got tired of waiting about 2 months ago and ordered one with the RGGH but returned it because it was just too much for me, the medium hardware is perfect.
I have a coupon for ****** for $200, and I was waiting for it to come up on their site but it seemed unlikely. I almost went for the work but I knew deep down I wanted the city. I hope I don't regret it and see it pop up on their site in the next 2 weeks, before my coupon expires. The only bag I plan on adding to my collection this year is an oak mulberry alexa so maybe that will come up..

The 2006 Ink Day RH that I bought arrived yesterday, it's faded (which the advert mentioned) but the glaze has also worn off on 90% of the bag. I was disappointed but still like the bag and it's vintage vibe and wanted an every day bag that I could throw around. The seller has offered a full refund if I return it and also a little refund (not much) if I keep it. Not sure what to do ?
Do you have a picture of the bag? You can post under the Care and Maintenance thread and ask people's opinion. If it's not too bad and you really love the color/style, some nourish cream (from Balenciaga or LMB) might bring the glaze back?
