I agree - Bal definitely has its own rules. When you find that one bag - and once you have been collecting for a while, and you know the difference between the leathers and the colors and you know the attributes of each year - rare bags such an as 05 black city in mint, perfect condition - well, it is hard to put a value on those. And if someone can afford it, then good for them. The value has been determined - and it is a true fair market value.
I'd like to see what an 05 turquoise work in mint/new condition would go for! Hahaha!!! Cause I would be right there, bidding away!

Thanks Rere! You know what is a bummer though? On my black ggh day, the bottom part looks a bit worn from rubbing against my hip. I do carry a ton though!
I stopped using her for now and used a little LMB Pro-Shine on it to make the dullness go away. It looks a little better.
For now, I'm using Violet GSH Day, and I've noticed her undertones of red are coming out. lol. I still love her though.
So hopefully I have enough bags to rotate and will have even amounts of wear.

Oh yes, I really think the bag rotation is key. It just makes sense to have a lot of bags, kwim? Makes the dollar go further...
My heart is racing... haven't bought retail in a while, and never been attracted to a GGH bag before, but I took the plunge, and a Black Stardust GGH city is on its way to me!
