I understand about the older leathers first hand for the first time.
It took me having a newer bag to compare as all I had was the older bags (i.e., 2005, 2006).

Having said that, I understand the want for the chevre and its ability to stand the test of time.

I have my very first Bbag on its way to me...a First in storm...I have had my eye on it forever, and just decided I had to go for it...I bought from Bal online so I can return it if I don't love it...no stores carry bal in my area....it will be the first one I actually see IRL...
