Nice to "see" you Poopsie!

:drinks:

You don't happen to have a peahen also do you? My ex lived in Arcadia, close enough to the Arboretum that you could hear the peacocks scream. I recall the first night I heard them---------I don't know who screamed louder me or them. :p I had no idea that such beautiful birds could make such a sound. :D

That is the most beautiful thing! "Pete" - I love it!!!!

I did the same thing! 2009 I posted pics and did reveals like crazy. Now I'm just flat out lazy. I get in my moods, but usually it takes a while to get everything together. :lawl:

Ok, so we made it through the line of storms. Nothing major. Wind and rain. Whew!

I took a pic of my babies. They weren't too worried about the weather today.

Good to hear! ..beautiful babies! ;)

We got Pete when he was 4 months old. Peacocks' don't develope their full plume till the beginning of their second year. He can perch in a tree, on the roof or in bad weather he goes into the barn. So they fly to a degree....but basically he just struts around our property looking fabulous.
We also have 4 dogs (all rescues) and 2 horses (1 rescue). We lost a pony and another dog last year. :crybaby:
On a happier note...here's Pete in full plume. Isn't he handsome!!!

Wow.. Very handsome indeed!!! :smile1:

Ok, Pete needs to be our mascot! He is beyond beautiful.

Losing a pet is one of the worst things. They are our babies.
Agree - I have three cats :smile1:

I love peacocks and Pete really looks stunning! :woohoo:
Btw I visited a park by a castle last month where they moved freely in their natural inhabitant, took loads of pictures but had no luck to shoot any of them in full plume.

We've had 2 peahens for Pete...unfortunately a fox killed them.
Their screaming sounds like someone getting murdered...very unnerving at first!!! Pete's not too noisey. My neighbor just got a Sicilian donkey...now that's loud!
Pete also has been known to go around the neighborhood looking for treats

We are thinking of getting another one, although I have a feeling Pete likes to be an only child!

Skyqueen -Love your bags, but I really love Pete! Nascar-Your cats are so cute. Love how they snuggle together.
:hugs:

Definitely more settled and content. I've given up the high stress job in the Fortune 500 top 5 mega-Corps and mellowed into the relaxed lifestyle. Now the only hard core thing I do is SHOP! I have Chanel, Dior, Balenciaga, but am an absolute addict for Judith Leiber. I may not have the same number of opportunities to carry them but I still can't give up the collecting.

Hi there NeverEnuff! I would also love to see some of your pictures, if possible. And you have my respect for making such an ultimate decision in your life and getting most of it. I still can´t find courage.

We'd love to see pics of your bags!
Congrats on getting out of the rat race and enjoying life. One day maybe I will, but I won't be able to shop like I do now. So for now I will keep working my fingers to the bone. :D

y'all want to see something crazy? For years I collected one specific bag.
:upsidedown::upsidedown::upsidedown:
I got a little twisted up over them. I still am but I have finally started branching out.
Anyone here know me well enough to know what it is?
