Imagine my surprise when I picked up my mail. An adorable Coach Gary Baseman "Buster" key chain...a gift from my "Coach Fairy"!!!
Perfect for a plain bag!

I just saw where you have a Buster too so we really are charm twins. I love the weight and quality of the charm. Send your Coach fairy my way! Congrats on a great charm. I still think of the Baseman totes and want one but alas I said no purchases in 2015! I love it and it is at home on your tote. Mine is at home on my Tatum tote, Fendi and Mulberry!

Totally MM - three pockets inside two outside pockets - light weight and all weather bag the perfect bag for my work.....
What a perfectly beautiful bag, cilifene! You're right... so useful for work, and it will be useful in all seasons, too. I'l bet it weighs next to nothing, and it goes with every outfit. Wear it in good health, Miss Birthday Girl!

Yes, Meredith bought it new and on sale she said. It arrived yesterday and I was shocked. I love the color and the nice thing is she picked one with grained leather. My other one is smooth leather and easier to scratch. I have worried about the money she spent but several people including Sky and Elvis have me on the right track in my thinking.
I hadn't realized that Meredith bought it for you, Izzy. What a wonderful present! The color is so soft and pretty, and now you and I are Mulberry bag twins again! I know you will enjoy this bag more than your others, because it came to you with love. Every time you carry it, you will think of your daughter... what a lovely thing!

You look wonderful Elaine. I think this is my favorite picture of you ever. Your smile is just so happy that it makes me smile.
Thank you so much, dear Meg. What a sweet thing to say. I am having more good days than bad now, and I think it is showing in my face (and my smile). 2014 was a hard year, but 2015 has a promising start.

I bumped into a friend at our local small market a couple of hours ago, and she gifted me with these words of wisdom: "A day doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful." Isn't that a lovely thought?

OK, ladies...the big weekend has arrived. I'm including you, Florasun, as well...I'm assuming you're a Seahawks fan.
Luv has the advantage since she will wear her Seahawks shirt! Try to post a pic!
I came across this Jimmy Kimmel video. The cast really are from MA, so they should have the Boston accent down. I've had several of these guys on my flights...some several times. They don't sound like this IRL...a lot of speech coaching. LOL!
Cute, I had to post..............................

Too funny, SQ... I just sent that youtube in a PM to you! The Hubster had found it this morning and emailed it to me, and I just couldn't stop laughing. I think it's especially funny for anone who has spent time in Boston... the accents are beyond hysterical!

Yes it was :smile1:. Now comes the process of letting go. I still have yet to go upstairs and really delve into the bags and get them listed. I probably have at least 20 to let go of immediately.
I'm in "divestiture" mode too, meg. I'm bringing 10 bags to my consignment shop next month. None of them are high-end; I bought them before I was really educated about "quality" in handbags. I have a couple of Marc by Marc Jacobs (now I only carry Marc Jacobs), some Rebecca Minkoff, a Kate Spade that is much too young-looking for me... stuff like that. I haven't used any of them in well over a year, because I always reach for my "good" bags now.

I realized that I felt as if I was drowning in handbags, and there was really no need for me to feel that way, since there were a bunch that I simply never used. I know I won't get a lot of money back on them, but whatever I do get goes back into my bag budget, so it's a "never-ending loop," LOL!

So very cute. I love that bag SQ..........

Thanks dear :smile1:

So if my count is right we have 3 for Seahawks and 3 for PATS

Went to the oncogist 2x yearly routine check up so that they can see I am still alive :) Everyone working there (and this is a huge cancer treatment center) was wearing Seahawks shirts. There was a sign in the lobby saying to wear Seahawks apparel to work today. There are Seahawks signs every where. At one of the buildings where I work there is a large banner hanging from the top of of building surrounded by lights (very cool when I drive to work in the dark ) with a huge 12 on it. GO Sea HAWKS!

I totally relate to the 2x yearly check up, luv... I call it the "grab & grope.":p I'm assuming this is the Hutchinson? It must have been so festive to see everyone in their Seahawks gear. Hope you got a gold star today!:smile1:

GO PATS!!

Thank ya too! Have we met??? I've been gone for a while.

I know. Yes, it needs someone else to love it. Every time I try to list it, I back out. By the time I describe it and take pics, I've talked myself into keeping it.:laugh::laugh:

Hi Nascar - no we hadn't met until this post. I joined the tPF last year but not very active due to 'LIFE' :smile1:. I started engaging on the forum a little more in December and now I'm on here daily.
After looking at so many of you ladies "GAWGEOUS" (pricey) handbags - I felt totally out of my leagu, no way could I afford these bags. <lol> . Although, I think I still am, I looked at the handbags which I already own and realize I have a good start.
But the forum is a wealth of good information including how to find some great deals on some wonderful bags. I have learned quite a lot in the last month from accessing the forum.

Welcome back!!

Sometimes those of us with adult children are surprised by our children in one way or another and we often miss them particularly on special days. Today was such a day because it was my birthday. When my children were growing up we always made a "celebration " over birthdays so birthdays aren't the same any more. Apparently my daughter decided that even though there are many miles between us she would help make my day a special celebration. The door bell rang and FedEx delivered an envelope with two beautiful cards from my daughter. One of the cards was from her Boston Terrier "Domino" with his paw signature and a gift card in each. I thought how fortunate I was to have children who remember and it was nice to get two gift cards to my favorite places. To my surprise there was another delivery, then another and then one final delivery. I have never done anything like this before but I am happy so I will share this day with anyone who might want to read this.

I also have a son whom I love just as much as my daughter and he came to visit, eat cupcakes and brought a great gift. As I think it over tonight it isn't the gifts that matter regardless of how nice or how much I like and appreciate them but it's the love of a parent for their child and the love of a child for their parent.

Izzy48 - sorry I missed this - but Happy Belated Birthday.

I believe you are simply seeing yourself (the love, care and tenderness) through and in your children. :smile1:
