Well ... we are apparently a small minority here, or some of us don't want to admit their age.

I imagine when one reaches a certain level of maturity, the whole handbag thing ceases to be something very important.

For instance - I am only here right now because I am recovering from getting my puppy's claws trimmed, and then I go back to work ... this place IS a great place to 'kill time'.

Hi ladies! im 57 and love Lv-well I should say the lv's I have and Im content! I have epi rubis Alma, black epi Speedy 30, ivorie epi Montaigne PM, Trivoli GM, Montogreuil GM, Sonatine, Chelsea damier tote, Speedy 30 Damier, and a timeless Chanel grey clutch( my most cherished).
I alternate these bags and so enjoy doing that. i also have a navy Longchamp medium pliag and a Bilberry large Lonchamp pliage, that are great travel bags.
My oldert bags are a couple of Coach, and couple of Dooney and Bourke which my DAUGHTER HAS TAKEN-SHE LOVES VINTAGE BAGS.
I have one Kate Spade maryanne quilted burgandy tote and a Donna Karan shoulder bag in grey mettalic with beads ( so cool).
I have had my red Epi wallet for 7 years and still going strong.......
These bags give me so much joy, and now my future children's weddings and grandchildren are what I want to spend my money on......

I am here. I have still like bags quite a bit. It is the only thing that always fits no matter how large or small I am at the time. They also don't get worn out like shoes do. I have a wide variety of bags. I have Lv's , Dooney & Bourke's, Mz Wallace's, Coach's ,2 Gucci's, tumi's ,Kipling's, Fossil's, some european leather bags, 1 radley, and some others that are handmade , kate spade, and a longchamp. This list is getting to long already and I know some are missing.

I have way too many still, but I sold off a lot, getting to my age (56) I feel like simplifying my possessions. I used to have a huge number.

Now have Hermes. LV, Chanel, Balenciaga (but only a couple of each) others are less expensive designers like Givenchy, Phillip Lim, Coach, Reed Krakoff, MZ Wallace, and the rest are no-name and/or art-fair handmade type bags. I just can't get below a certain number, but at least I have cut back a LOT on purchasing. I don't 'need' another single darn bag.

My LVs are 20+ years old and still look good. My Hermes were preowned as were the Chanel.

I don't buy high-end designer any more, just can't justify the money, will use what i have.
