Colored gemstones....underrated and who loves them?

Love the idea of this thread! I have a 10 carat black diamond engagement ring and a rhodolite garnet on my index finger. I have a custom purple sapphire ring currently in the works that I’m waiting on.

WOW! That black diamond is a stunner! It has such presence and I can only imagine the way it gleams. That rhodolite garnet is also such a beautiful color. How have you found it to wear? Ive heard that garnet can run soft which is why ive been hesitant to get any pieces myself, but I love how many colors the stone comes in just like sapphire. I would LOVE to see your purple sapphire once it's done!

Thank you!! The rhodolite has scratched a little since getting it but I wear it all day every day. I feel like it’s meant to be worn and I’ll worry about the wear on it if it becomes severely damaged/needs to be replaced.

I'm the exact same way. Jewelry deserves to be worn and loved! I hope it wears and lasts well.

It’s kind of inspired by this but each swirl ring this artist does is one of a kind. His name is Todd Alan. It’s been taking a while though, I don’t think he’s started it yet.

Yes but I have no photos of it lololol I’ll report back in a few weeks. I do want to share tho my garnet ring has a swivel mechanism and the backside is engraved. It’s called a swivel signet ring from Jillian abboud
