Inside the box was a paper, once I removed that paper there was my Michael Kors bag. Yep. No plastic bags, no bubble wraps, NOTHING. Here are some pics.. and check out that wrinkled dust bag too. This is definitely a used bag or a floor model. How is this OK to send to someone? My mind is absolutely blown.

Posting these here to let you guys know to be aware. I had heard Macy's was terrible with their packaging but I honestly didn't think it was this bad.

IF anyone is interested in following up with the disaster of me RE-ORDERing this back after the first try, feel free to check out my new post here with the SECOND bag they sent me to "make up" for the terrible first order.. LOL, I dont know if I should cry or laugh.. im just done!

Well I did it! I broke down and bought the Collette! Even though it has gold hardware, lol! I love the outer pocket on it and it has been on my list for some time now.

I just got another unbelievable steal on eBay for 110.00! She accepted my best offer and FREE shipping! That is like getting it for only 95.00, if you consider shipping cost. Couldn't pass it up! !! The seller didn't even know the style name! Just had it listed as a "Michael Kors Bag" . Here is a pic of it from the listing. Will post more when it arrives. YES, I love ebay! lol!

I watch all these ladies get fairly good deals at these upscale designer retail stores, and then repeatedly hear all these horror stories about shoddy shipping and damaged bags..... Then I get 'comments' because I'm an ebay freak, yet I have never had this problem. The bags I get are always shipped nicely.I think it is because the ladies that own them, understand how they should be sent, as opposed to minimum wage college kids or clerks in a hurry to get out of there, and really don't care or even own a designer bag. Nothing against college kids or minimum wage workers, but let's face it , they're always in a hurry and who could blame them! lol! Ladies that own and sell these bags from the comfort of their home, have more time and like being at home! lol!

Say what you want about ebay, but I get incredible steals there, and I love it! I just bought the Collette just like yours for only 110.00! I doubt it will get shipped like this. Check it out some time! Just because it's from an upscale store, doesn't seem to mean much as you now know. Unbelievable deals on ebay! On the same bags! I even got my Riley there for only 135.00 and it was packaged beautifully. I admit I have had some questionable packaging, but nothing that damaged a bag or was worth worrying about after saving a couple hundred dollars on the bag.

LOVE your Colette collection!

I have the navy (large) which I got on sale at Holt Renfrew in May/June? What I truly admire and ENJOY about carrying MK bags is the fantastic internal org pockets everywhere! MK bags are SO super practical.

I get compliments on the navy but I really, really wanted the red Chilli but it was never sold in Canada :( none at all. I wouldn't mind a (large) black Colette too!

Note: I see TPF members comparing with Swagger bag too - sigh - yes, I like the Swagger too but did not love the leather "enough". It was ok. I wanted the 37 but it came in VERY limited colour choices/hw choices! In the end, the large size 37 is pretty darn heavy. The smaller black/black hw would've been my top pick but I digress :roflmfao:

And so I did! I just took the plunge and bought my very first Collette large in black with ghw. It goes in the mail tomorrow, seller said it is in mint condition. Hopefully that is true! I've looked for that bag for a long time but never found one as it is all sold out. So I had given it up and stumbled across this one as I searched for a black Dillon. And today, there it was! And here it is! My beautiful, beautiful black colette with ghw:love:. Sooo soft to the touch, almost like silk. Didn't have time to adjust the handle-just so excited:yahoo::hbeat::love:
