Hello Coco Handle lovers! I'm considering adding a medium Chevron one to my collection, but struggling a bit to visualise which colour... I'm not into 'easy' colours (black, beuges, brown, nudes, etc...) but the design is so classic, I feel maybe burgundy? Or a good royal blue?
Both of those colours are fairly easy to coordinate and are also colours for all year round. Green is good too. If you’re lucky enough to find one in a Chanel boutique, ask the SA to let you try the bag against different coloured shawls to get a better idea. Good luck - I hope you find a gem!
I have the old medium size, which is much larger and in dark blue and chevron. Love it! It’s a staple. Goes with everything. I got it back in 2018

I had no idea about the variation in size, I tried on the current medium size in the boutique and found it perfect.
So the leather options with the coco are lambskin or caviar?
All mine are caviar due to how often they get taken out. I’ve got some lambskin CF and don’t take them out at all. Don’t know when was the last time I even did.
As far as the size, the new medium size is perfect for me. The small now is just cute and small but not as good for my daily activities. I also haven’t seen coco chevron in a while. Can someone tell me when was the last time one came out in Chevron?

There isn't much inventory online (fashionphile, rebag, etc.) for me to make a decision. I am not a reseller buying to make a profit. But am possibly stuck with one as my friend changed their mind

From what I'm seeing on eBay and other consignment websites is that they are (at least for right now) selling above retail as long as they're in great condition. I just purchased a Medium (11") one myself, and I paid $5400 for her. That was the best price for an excellent condition one (with no structural issues) that I had found. I don't exactly know what current retail is, but that price seems pretty close to what I'm remembering. Most others that I have seen that are in New, Like-New, or Barely-Used condition are listed for more than that (6-6.5k+). That being said, I have no idea how quickly they sell at that price. Just offering you what I know, since I only just bought mine within this past week and am still waiting for her to arrive.
Same here. Purchased the same size on Fashionphile (although Fashionphile listed as small) for the exact same price before a 10% sale discount. It was listed in Excellent condition with no flaws, from year 2020. I see a few now on FP with pricing ranging from high $4XXX to over $7XXX depending on condition.
