I did want to see the black sequin items in person as I am not sure if it will look as good in reality, as well as getting a good sense of capacity, before deciding to take the plunge. It's looking like the black cutout bag is an exotic and is going to be out of my price range, but I will see. I'm thinking I should contact my SA there...

Unfortunately, shipping from store is all it says. There's no tracking number. So when or if it's coming any time soon is anybody's guess.

And received a cancellation notice. Think it's a sign I don't need any more bags or SLGs and I ought to get something on my jewelry wishlist. That said, I will still probably be online for the April 12th launch and try buying then.
Me too and it worked out for the best. The stars aligned on something else on my wishlist.
My store said that no stores will be able to do a backorder or order any pieces from the collection. Stock is apparently so limited that some styles only have under 10 units available (there were under 20 last week but somehow that number dropped in between now and then).
I feel like these are going to be put up on the website only to show that they sold out. (Ex: some pieces from the Disney collection were put online, but they said "out of stock" right away.)

Wow, from reading all these posts it seems as if Coach is artificially creating a big demand for these items, as part of a marketing ploy. It's working so far -- they've teased us with tempting photos and now we'll be considered "Lucky" if we have the "privilege" to throw our hard earned money into their deep pockets.
I've already lost interest in jumping through hoops to be one of the Lucky ones! I feel like we're being played.

I'm not someone who cares about "limited" editions or "crazy" deals that require timing the purchase...I hate wasting my time waiting in lines and certainly will not hang around stalking a website or get up early for a "crazy" sale...just not going to happen. LOL
