my first came from my ex...i still can't look at that bag without wanting to rip it apart...

but my second one came after i sold my ex's stuff behind his back- got myself my pretty carryall (he cheated, i bought a bag). revenge is sweet. :p

My first bag purchase was very special, my husband took me into a boutique in Caesars Forum shops and actually helped me pic out a few bags! I was indecisive about which one I wanted and we walked around finally he took me back and was like YOU need this bag and purchased it for me as an 1 year anniversary gift, on top of the diamond band he had already given me!

First bag came from the store, second one however came from the outlet(my frist trip) and boy was I sick when I seen my bag sitting there, then the SA asked did I get my bag from the outlet. I was scared to see the price so I didn't look at all. Next 2 bags came from ebay and I got killer deals.

My first Coach was super special; my husband bought it at a Coach Boutique in Philadelphia for Christmas back in 1997. I no longer wear the bag, but it is still in my closet. It is still on their website under "classic favorites". It is the Legacy Zip in black.

I bought my first from the Coach store- a black on black mini sig. Another good thing about buying from the store is the awesome bags they use to put your purchase in! And they wrap it up so nicely  I love going to the Coach store!!

My first time was a little to quick for me and when it was over, I wish I would have waited a little longer for that one special Coach bag. It was the Fall Patchwork bag and I think I only wore it twice before finding love in Legacy. By then I think I was a bit more experienced and it was a lot more enjoyable. ;)

The first time I went to a Coach store at all was in '06. I like never even knew there was one 2 hours from me. We went up to Rochester, NY to go to a concert and decided to bring some cash with us to go shopping. I entered the store and I was like 'WOWOWOWOW!' I want everything.

I was a little hesitant to spend anything over like $100 bucks on a purse and seeing as I had just gotten out of the Guess store with a $60 purse I didn't know if I should buy another.

But I went in and looked around. I'm really drawn to large bags but they were all too much for me at that time. I decided on the small but nice SOHO SIGNATURE SMALL FLAP purse. And a mini skinny.

I spent about $300 that day there and I didn't feel bad at all. I was sooo excited to finally have an authentic purse.

I am going back this weekend and repeating the process. LOL

So yeah that's my virgin story!

My first Coach purchase was at an outlet, I think around 2003 - there are no regular Coach stores around the place where I went to college. I had a good time shopping, but the SAs at that outlet didn't really give a whole lot of input. :cutesy: My first time shopping at a regular store was definately a good experience though.

I would suggest going to a regular store for your first purchase if there is one around you, because the experience will be the best possible and the SAs will give you extra special attention.

My first bag was back in the late 80's . I purchased it
at the Coach boutique and it was the green saddle bag with turnlock closure.

Go to the Coach Boutique or Outlet for your first purchase. Do not buy it from EBAY. Your first experience should be special.

My first was a Christmas gift from my now ex-husb. (stewardess bag). I was totally surprised because I gave him the number and told him it was at Dillards but didn’t think he would get it for me. I think I carried it for years before I could even looked at another purse.

lol... you go girl! You should sell the first bag also and get yourself something you don't want to rip apart.

My first purchase would have been at dillards if I had been able to get any of the snobby employees to help me... instead I went home, looked online and saw there was an outlet not too terribly far away so I went the next day and bought 3 bags for what I was going to spend on the one at dillards. Since then I usually go to a boutique, the service is worth it! :)
