How does everyone feel about the red clutch in cross grain leather? I broke down and finally played with it in person - I love it!!! It looked very red under the display lights but when I held it in my hand, it definitely didn't seem as red. The SA said the cross grain reflects light; not sure if she was just trying to sell me on it or not. It's such a roomy clutch with a detachable bag. But still.... I'm not supposed to be shopping :(

I seriously can't stop thinking about it!! I've attached a photo.

My understanding is that crossgrain is another type of corrected grain leather like pebbled or saffiano. I have multiple saffiano, pebbled, and crossgrain pieces, so it doesn't bother me, but it is worth keeping in mind that it is different than full grain leather.

ETA: Personally, I think it is pretty, and if it calls to you, go for it! You can join the banned in the thread on the shopping subforum afterwards if you need to.

This is a great size to have; love the red!

I finally had a chance to stop by Coach yesterday for a few minutes, and the black on black Swagger is definitely in my future! That is a gorgeous bag.

The other one that I was quite taken with (that I hadn't even noticed when I looked online) was the prairie satchel in whiplash leather, in light gold/apricot. The apricot is so beautiful with the gold hardware, and the leather is gorgeous. They had the "ears" pulled down with the straps on the sides, so it looked more like a satchel and less like a tote irl. Online I think it looks more like the regular kelsey/prairie satchel/tatum tote profile (wider at the top than at the bottom), but with the ears pulled down it accentuates the boxy/satchel look. Very pretty!

I saw this whiplash Prairie also. They had it in red, so pretty.
I don't need anymore red bags though...

I saw these yesterday and liked them all, as well. Swagger was a little heavy. Apricot is a wonderful spring color. I also liked that color in the Ryder 24 (mini).

What do you think could fit in that front pocket?

Last couple...
I love that they're bringing some edge to the brand. More edge, less logos, and frumpy conservative silo's. The Swagger bag (although I hate the name) Is my first Coach bag in nearly 12 years. My Phillip Lim Pashli, and Balenciaga are literally pushed aside for the time being... As a fashionable NY woman, I'm in complete disbelief that I'm carrying a Coach bag. So much so that it prompted me to finally post on PurseForum! Interesting to see the brand evolve.

First, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who totally hates that name.

Secondly, you think because someone is a fashionable New Yorker that they are too good for the brand? Because that's what it sounds like. Just because Coach hasn't been fashionable for you over the past seasons doesn't mean that they weren't fashionable for some other N.Y. fashionista.
