How odd. Looks like they have two different series of number. One for Colette bags and one for USA (?) bags. Mine says #314 of #350.
Oh, I love what the creed says! My portfolio's creed also has that script, but I didn't notice until I saw your pictures.
The tags of the bags on colette.fr all say "XXX of 005", so you must be correct that there are more than one series of number

Doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of having a numbered limited edition bag when it appears that there are two series of numbers and they are not even differentiated by say a batch number?

No idea how limited-edition numbering works in Coach...... But I'm happy with the number assigned to my bag acquired from colette - '004 out of 005' makes me feel really lucky! I could easily miss out if relying solely on our local store to track one down
In my opinion, it sounds like they're not sure how well it'll sell, therefore the relatively low number. 400 or so is already an increase from the peanuts collection!

It looks the same (same color etc) as the limited edition of 350 that is being sold in the US. I love it but I can't tell if it is a different color or not. Other stuff on the site is different colors etc but I am trying to figure out if this is a different bag or not. I bought the butterfly one last night off the Collete site so I will know soon enough I guess.

Congrats on getting the butterfly one which is super cute too! And the color is lovely! Indeed I had a hard time choosing between those two on collete.fr. I ended up picking the periwinkle one because Buster le Fauve is my favorite beast
