Nice job! The owl tassel looks great!
Thanks! I never know if these trinkets are too juvenile. I think it fits the light-hearted look of this casual bag.

Wow, it looks great!!Here is the before and after for my Legacy West Hobo. For fun, I added a tassel I made and an owl medallion I bought at Goodwill. Silly, I know, but I like it.

What a nice collection - such pretty bags!Hi ladies,
Hoping to get advice on how to better provide some TLC help, to my modest Sonoma collection. There are all fairly cleaned inside, no ink no big stains, etc.. Not a concern. Then there are 2 leather and 3 nubuc.
The leather ones, mostly need cleaning of the bottom edges and corners, so I imagine no need to dunk, just clean and perhaps use some of that paint/cream mix you use?
The nubuc ones worry me more, because I am a bit apprehensive to dunk those, the pink one is the worse, it shows darker areas on the back, that could be from use or denim transfer, I can not tell, and the handle is dirty for sure. The other two have like very "flat" surface and overall dirty. Any specific product I could use for making the nubuc "come back"?
I have read many of your posts with advice and successes, but when it comes to do it myself... I am not that confident, LOL

Based on my experience, I think you're wise to lightly clean (not dunk) those two light colored pebbled leather bags, and just touch up the edges/corners like you've planned.
I bought two light colored Sonomas (Wheat & Maize) on eBay, and decided to dunk them even tho they looked in great condition - I did it just because they were second hand to me, and I'd had rehab success with black bags.
After dunking, many tiny flaws & areas of wear/color loss showed up that conditioning and Blackrock wouldn't hide. I was so disappointed! They now have a slightly dirty look to them. Maybe no one else would notice it, but I do!
They're nice bags and I'll still use them, but I won't make that mistake again.
Hope this helps!
I have the middle one in a tan, and I washed it the same as any other bag, and had no problems.
Thank you for your input ladies.
So if I dunk the nubuc ones, then I brush them when they start to dry to bring the "bumps" back? No need for special suede cleaner or anything like that?
See my post on p. 696 for how I successfully dunked a Sonoma nubuc. You collection is super! Collector tip: Sonomas are among the most reasonably priced Coaches on ebay.
